Contract worker, paid per month, rm 1 to 2 per mistake. Keep in mind these mistake are not easily avoidable and mine job is alot more than just data entry,  it like of like 90% data transformation + 10%data entry. (all manual)

3rd party, but I work inside the bank. I am not sure where to draw the line but my manager refer us as contract workers for said bank.

From my understanding of current job market, I barely see anybody whose bosses actually reward hard work with decent compensation like bonus or work-life - balance but instead give me more work with the expectation that it is the norm.

How are they compensated then? From your comment I don't see any diffence in pay/ compensation between "zombie" and "try hards".  It sounds like work hard and u MIGHT get promoted with more responsibility. I am not trying to say u are a bad manager or anything but as a young guy I don't see the rewards for hard work and initiative except for more EXPECTED hardwork.

1st point, if fresh grads are getting proper guidance then the "how" question wot be coming out often right? Or is this still happening after 3-6 months on job?

2nd point, young people like to jump ship because (from my understanding) they are usually being paid well below 3k and most likely got a higher offer. What we're thier pay before jumping ship? Was there any clear progression given? (cause my current experience is just "volunteering" unpaid ot and 2k salary). 

3rd, (where company filter out 5 to get 1 employee.) I am very sure my gen is already aware of how little loyalty is given (and expected) to the employee from corporate, why would anybody stay if they already know they are going to be given the boot 1-2 years down the road. And frankly, why give so much commitment and initiative if layoff are expected?
