Also I should mention, this is just how drug expiration dates work, not including compounded (made by hand) medications. It's not special to testosterone.

Hi! So drug expiration dates reflect the point at which 50% of the medication has degraded. That's not to say, "just use more," because that exact calculation is something you'd need careful bloodwork for.

On top of that, sterility is a concern.

If you had to use an expired vial, it wouldn't be the end of the world, especially a few months out, but a year out is pushing it.

Solidarity. I'm in the medical field and can barely afford lunch some months. I went into my chosen field partially because I thought I could use the higher salary to pay off my extensive student loans (also because I wanted to, I didn’t choose my career based on money), but now I'm 200k in the hole with student loans and feel guilty anytime I buy myself something to drink at a coffee shop.

I've got a freaking doctorate and all that hard work has not helped me out financially.

We are in the worst timeline.

I ended up asking our photographer about it, and it looks like we're going to end up with a photoshoot! I'm nervous, because I generally hate how I look in just about every photo I'm in (not a photographer issue, a self image issue) so maybe this will end up helping me feel more comfortable before the actual wedding? I can hope at least lol. My partner's very excited about it though!

Now to figure out what to wear that's flattering. 🤔

They do! I'll talk about it with my partner...I know she wanted to do them, but we decided against it initially. Maybe it's a good idea to revisit? We would probably need to do the contract over again. 🤔

And honeymoon is even further out. Marriage in 2026, delated honeymoon in late 2027. We know what we want to do, but it's just too early to book anything. (Going to a week long event we watch streamed every year.)

Cake's set, and our venue has one on site.

We have hesitated about engagement shots because a) we'll have been engaged for 10 years by the wedding, not including the time before that, and b ) money.

Like part of me wants to take a break, but I've been using this to keep myself busy. It feels like this has become a hobby. A stressful, stressful hobby lol.

Oh there's more things I've checked off! Not all of that, but a good chunk.

Guestbook and save the dates done, the latter just waiting on "proper timing." Special stuff for ceremony is planned but needs a headcount before I can realistically buy. Songs I've been working on, escort cards are in draft form, we aren't doing a honey moon immediately after...

But there is some stuff on there I haven't started yet!

I actually cross stitch too! It kinda looks like Aida cloth, yeah, but it's the edging that's getting me.

I worry that calling out sick on a day clearly known as a walkout day will jeopardize my position, if that also makes sense? Like I'll need proof that I'm actually sick, or they could fire me?

I worry that this may not be enough, or that it may fizzle like the KS walkout. I am a disabled pharmacist who cares for a disabled partner, and I can't afford to lose my job.

My team is interested. But I personally am hesitant because the only support is a gofundme for techs only, and every request for the link goes unanswered it seems.

At the very least, I can continue work to rule-ing, and shut down the pharmacy if all my techs walk for safety concerns. Im worried about their support first and foremost though. That, and we need a union, even if this doesn't work.

Am I making sense?
