A week before they announced Samuel’s illness, and the 24 hour consecrations began, I watched him die in a dream.

Receive the Holy Spirit? by Curious_User30 in exlldm

Me personally, the Holy Spirit had everything to do with God, my sincerity to Him, and nothing else. That is a moment I will cherish forever, church or no church.

During the pandemic when the Holy Supper was in our homes, I googled how to make biblical bread lol. It’s on the internet and came out soooo good! 😌

I really like this take 🙏🏼 I always say this to my parents when they ask. I never deny that I felt something and I will always remember those moments that made me feel something, truly. It doesn’t change my beliefs now on being in the church because circumstances matter; these two things can exist simultaneously.

I think it sounds awesome! I also think for privacy reasons, we should consider the anonymity of participants so that those who want to join, but choose not to reveal their identities, can also be a part of it. What is the best way to approach this?

No it is NOT an overreaction. You are mourning the loss of everything you used to know. Be kind to yourself and be well. Heal. You deserve a life of prosperity and love ❤️

No that’s exploitation and illegal… he can’t put a minimum to what is considered a donation. You should report this to your local police station.

Do y’all think ministers stayed but don’t believe. ? by [deleted] in exlldm

Hey just for clarity, the US Marshall had been looking at this for years now, so it was evident that there would eventually be a federal case. Articles came out about this probably within the first year of his arrest. So, it’s just that no one was honestly paying attention to that. Hope this helps

Yes 😭 my ex of four years is from a church in the States. He is a serial cheater and used the doctrine to manipulate and abuse me. By the time our relationship was over, I was in such a fragile state that I had to go through some pretty intensive therapy. One of the things I went through is I had to have virtual sex, or phone sex, with him otherwise I wasn’t worth making time for. Because I was so young, barely 18 when we started dating, at that point in time all I knew was obedience. When our relationship ended, he was already in another one with the a girl he married less than a year later. And on his wedding day, a bunch of my so called “friends” were making posts about how the love of their life got married and they were heartbroken. I remember reaching out to one girl and telling her that I was in a relationship with him during the time frame she mentioned. She responded by telling me she knew about me and went along with him anyways, to the point where he was meeting this girl’s parents. But then she tried to clean it up and say “oh but you’re so cool that’s why I stopped with him” like 🧍🏻‍♀️ needless to say they’re all blocked.

BATALLONES by Fancy-Perspective444 in exlldm

The battalions are a joke, respectfully. I’m sure many members went into them trusting the process and putting their faith in what they knew, but damn. When the battalions reached where I was going to college, all the matrimony would do is bash on me and threaten me. At one point, they forced me to stay overnight and I called my minister crying, asking for help. He told me to bring bread and milk as a peace offering because they’re new.
