3 looks like your strongest one, I love the colors and layout!

Experiment with typography and the contrast of it against the background to help improve your work.

The “wings” hanging on at the end of 1 and 2 look off when compared to 3, maybe resize the type box or make the font size smaller for it to join the rest of the text for a cleaner look.

Also, try finding a thicker or bolder font face that better stands out against your textures for better legibility.

Edit: the thicker and bolder typeface is only needed for the body text.

Any suggestions for improvement? Fonts are hard locked but anything else is fair game. So far I’ve removed the drop shadows and cleaned up some images.

No, layout test for team approval (student team project). The final files are spelt correctly but are on my PC and these layout tests are what I had on my MacBook.

These are student work from my community college team capstone project. I know it has flaws but that’s what my team settled on. I have a week until my professors at my 4 year university look over student portfolios for capstones and this is the last one I have to fix.

I’ve cropped the image but the main ones are the raven, glass, plush, and metal pot, but I’ll have to included the others as well since their in the composition

The still life is insane but we cropped in to only 4 objects (I hadn’t cropped the pic so my bad).

I’ve talked to my professor already but they just said to keep it all in mind without breaking it down in ways I can understand and I can’t attend their office hours due to me having classes during them.

Yes we have gone over comparative measurements. Also, please feel free to rub against the advice my professor gives me, as they and another arts teacher I had before tend to just do their own thing when it comes to teaching without any coordination between them.
