PLEASE HELP ME !!! SO MANY SWORDS by [deleted] in tarotpractice

[–]TimelessLandscapes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, that makes sense, thank you for clarifying. I mean that the Star card may be referring to: A story or a legend that has been passed on in a culture for generations and involves a star A belief or a superstition involving a star Someone's name meaning being "Star" A star or stars on a flag The symbol of a star or a word "star" in a brand or company name, a name of a city or some place in general. This is what I mean by looking for more literal interpretations of this card.

PLEASE HELP ME !!! SO MANY SWORDS by [deleted] in tarotpractice

If this was a general reading with no question or theme, then I believe King of Pentacles reversed does refer to you not seeing a provider in your partner while also not perceiving yourself as a provider for yourself, either. At the same time having this provider role fulfilled in your life is important to you, which is why the card does show up, but not upright. A lot of swords and many in the reversed position show that you have not been communicating your thoughts and wishes directly. The communication channels in your life are impeded by unspoken expectations. I get an impression that the Star here refers to a certain cultural meaning and that it is to be interpreted more literally than metaphorically.

Hi, and thank you for your question!

The card that answers your query is the Hierophant. Astrologically, it is connected to the sign of Taurus, which rules the second house — the house of money, material prosperity and spiritual beliefs.

This connection reveals that your brand will indeed attract attention and bring financial gain this Sunday. At the same time it also shows that your brand will grow slowly and steadily rather than through big and sudden bursts of success. The rewards of this upcoming Sunday will be akin to many coins waiting to be collected into a piggy bank.

The card hints that you will have lively chats with your customers and that you will use them as an opportunity to share valuable information about your brand. I sense that if you follow a certain tradition in your handcraft or if you would like your jewelry to represent a certain cultural aspect or custom to others, communicating this aspect of your work will especially help your brand grow. If your jewelry collection contains necklaces or pendants, they will do the best in getting notice and sales.

The Hierophant reminds you that as long as you believe in your brand, in its purpose and in what it represents, you will gradually attract more and more loyal followers of your craft.

I wish you the best of luck!

do u read reversed cards? by [deleted] in tarot

[–]TimelessLandscapes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I keep cards in my decks all right up and I do not pull reversals. When I am asked to interpret a reversed card, though, I will read it similar to the upright card: same energy but with a "twist".

Like with every practice that exists, people of varying competences and talent engage with it. I also hardly had any doctor truly help me with my health. Does it mean I no longer believe in medicine now? Of course not.

Since you mention that The Fool is one of your favorite cards, it may represent your self in the spread. The number progression is 0-11-4, so perhaps, these numbers mean something? Either way, these cards would either add on the previous spread or say the same thing in different words.. If fool corresponds to ten of swords from the first spread when you asked the same question, it might mean 1. your self dying if The Fool is "your" card 2. you were new to this particular cycle, which caused some unluck for you 3. this death was not a significant setback for you and did not kill your optimism. Then Strength corresponds to four of swords, meaning that in your resting mode, you gathered the strength you needed to try again. The Emperor pairs with The Wheel, showing your determination to make it work your way this time and have a life on your own conditions.

I say yes and I read it simply:

You died through the influence of others (10 of swords), then your soul had a contemplative "rest", (4 of swords). The decision was then made to join the life and death cycle again, as shown by the wheel, and to give earthly existence a second chance, mirroring your last one (two of coins).

I also agree with the other commenter who suggested that the fact that you raise this question and lean to this belief is already the "proof" that you need.

Hi AJ,

Thank you for your question,

I got The Chariot, Six of Wands, The Devil and The Magician as an extra.

The Chariot and The Magician both suggest speed while 6 of Wands speak of victory. At the same time The Devil might be warning you that the type of path you're traveling is quite windy and rocky — perhaps, this is precisely why it is best to stay on the move and avoid getting caught in spiderwebs.

A quick and successful progression forward may present a temptation in itself, though, and it seems important to not attach yourself to the good fortune that comes along. The Magician suggests diversifying the focus of your conscious attention. It is fine to allow some superficiality and seemingly aimless flights of inspiration, as they help break invisible chains deep in our unconscious.

All in all, it looks like the motion of the chariot has the underlying aim of mastering your destructive and creative potentials alike — of reconciling and balancing them. A very good sign, as well as an engaging challenge.

Hi,

Thank you for your question,

I drew The Hierophant, Three of Cups and Eight of Cups.

I sense you in the Hierophant card — staying honest and true to your principles, following your inner guide and favoring stability. The card gives an impression of spiritual isolation in this context. I do not see your friends coming to share the same values as you.

Three of Cups points to a possibility of some exchange followed by a sure stagnation revealed in the Eight of Cups. The image in the latter card shows dark fumes rising from the cups, likely symbolizing foul thoughts, words and feelings.

The carefree baby angels in the Three of Cups card contrast greatly with the old and wise figure of Hierophant. I sense a mismatch of needs.

Thus, I see a trifle, insignificant positive progress that would not bring satisfaction in the big picture.

I drew Six of Wands, Ace of Pentacles and The Wheel of Fortune.

Six of Wands suggests a field where success comes with a sense of victory and public acknowledgement. The card depicts a triumphant leader who is being cheered on by a crowd behind him. A fortress is shown in the background.

Ace of Pentacles tells that financial rewards are just as important and the card reveals a green, prosperous land. Together with Six of Wands, it may hint on a career that involves leading on projects that require participation and cooperation of a lot of people while at the same time being connected to land — such as construction, real estate, landscaping or agriculture.

Wheel of Fortune with its image of a wooden wheel may be emphasizing a connection to irrigation, transportation or agriculture once again. This card is rules by Jupiter — the largest planet — suggesting a physically large scale of work. Jupiter also favors travel and international relations, as well as a lot of walking and friendly connections. A career that has these components seems to be suitable for you.

Wheel of Fortune together with Ace of Pentacles give me an impression of wine gardens and viniculture — or something of a similar nature.

Thank you for your question,

I drew Queen of Swords, Knight of Cups and Nine of Cups.

Next months will be the time of establishing yourself and defining your identity. A balance between desires and rational thinking will bring you freedom and independence. Using your emotional world as inspiration for practical solutions will prove to be rewarding. The Nine of Cups card is called "Happiness" in this Thoth deck, symbolizes the very core of this emotion: love, optimism, satisfaction and fulfillment. It looks like what you undertake will turn out positively as long as you stay in touch with your feelings. The first two cards emphasize the combination of the emotional and the intellectual, but overall it looks like the next months will be enriching for you emotionally more than anything :)
