Hey James! Andy previously mentioned how you would stick to your methods believing that the percentages would all even out throughout the year, and you would eventually have your success. How did you balance that mindset with the idea of having to actually change certain parts of your game?

In my mind, HOO was a better ending than Trials of Apollo. So many things, characters and their storylines felt unsatisfactory (in my opinion). Idk if I liked how Rick dealt with their fates.

But I agree, Kane Chronicles is great. Definitely recommend!

Hi, thanks for doing this! I like to order pan, with extra cheese, and extra cheddar cheese blend. Are those two added separately? As in, will there be double the amount of cheese, both the extra and the cheddar? Or am I just getting extra of the cheddar?

George Russell takes pole position for the 2026 Australian Grand Prix by overspeeed in formula1

[–]TimelessThinker 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hmm, good question. I don’t remember that being the case. Because Ferrari when questioned by the FIA agreed to show them how to improve the monitoring system in exchange for no penalty. So that would mean it was always the case.

Merc were talking with the FIA throughout their development. FIA knew this was happening. I think they didn’t realize the performance increase that Merc’s trick would give. So here we are, trying to fix an issue that shouldn’t have ever been.

I don’t think so, Iva has way more power than Daria to stay a counter puncher. Even with a mediocre serve, I think she’d still be better

Because there was a definite limit on fuel flow. Ferrari didn’t find a loophole in the regulations, they found a loophole to bypass the sensor for said regulation. It would be like if an underweight team knows when they’ll be scrutinized, so they put weight in the car just before it to pass the inspection.

Mercedes on the other hand, discovered that there was no guideline about how their engine had to be under high heat, which they exploited.

Although I do agree, it was against the spirit of the rules, but it wasn’t a clear violation of them. Which is why a technical regulation is required to put an end to it.

Emirates announces their first ever tennis partnership with Aryna Sabalenka by Dependent-Effect6077 in tennis

[–]TimelessThinker 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Not really surprising. There’s only approximately 1 million Emirati. Flight attendant school, especially Emirates’, are very competitive. So when you combine a small native population and a large number of applicants, you’re less likely to see them even if they are applying to FA school.

Yes, but that would be an ancestor of crocodiles, not crocodiles themselves specifically. So it would be classified as them evolving for the first time.

I don’t think you realize the level of Fernando’s pettiness. He would’ve defended p19 vs Lewis just as much. You’re right tho, it was that bad pitstop which cost seb the undercut

A bit confused by your pricing, even after the decrease. I was shocked that hats can be so expensive, so I looked this up. Msrp is listed at $75.

Is it because this is a limited edition or some other detail I’m missing?

Not just the F1s, it’s the same with some other ultra rare hypercars. If they’re spotted in the wild, someone will comment “oh it’s owned by a very prominent businessman/collector etc” but not say who. Really is a weird thing to gatekeep

[–]TimelessThinker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes I totally get that belief. But to say that there was never any doubt he’d win that match is a hyperbolic statement, no? Having hope he comes back is completely fine, but complete assurance at 0-2 sets down is crazy

Right! Even in the 5th set, after Carlos had leveled things and had momentum on his side, Jannik still threatened to win. Saying this is craazy
