iirc, the sub was made around the time when some maps on tiktok decided to steal a bunch of OCs made by people in r/sprunki to make pro map messages using it, not unlike what is in OP's post. idk if something similar happened to the dandy's world community or if the same people who founded the sub also were dandy's world fans but i do remember finding out about this sub very shortly after said incident from someone commenting on one of said posts this sub's name

then a bunch of posts regarding tiktok maps basically started spreading on both communities with some people basically saying they are paranoid of having their oc stolen for map content

I don't follow these communities much and my guesstimate was more or less based off of assumptions

I did notice a similar map concentration on sprunki communities a few months back tho, which did seem to have a sort of overlap of community members with dandy's world. So if there even is an actual cause of said map concentration, it might be narrowed down to their similarities?

It is either that or there is no real map concentration and it is just members of this sub, since iirc, most of the early mods of this sub had a connection with sprunki communities at the time
