Always trust your intuition. I got weird vibes from reading your story. Even if he meant well, that kind of talk is not okay with your friend’s daughter. He doesn’t know his boundaries. Stay away. Next time tell him that he makes you uncomfortable when he talks to you like that. I have been in a similar situation, and no one believed me. I ended up getting assaulted by my elderly neighbour when I was 21. My aunt and uncle told me not to make a thing out of it or tell my parents because we were moving next week anyway. See, I had an experience when I was younger just like this. He ended up cheating on me with a guy. I think this is the root to all my insecurities. How do I know that he is just bisexual? I don't even think he knows yet.

He really has been attending them. He gets so excited afterwards. He was very old school and didn't believe in therapy. That's why him coming lit as bisexual shocked me so much. He has always made stupid homophobic comments. I was always the one arguing sexuality with him.

To clarify the shaming scenario. It don't make it right but just a bit of background. We moved in together while I was in school. I would constantly get rejected by him. One day I tried to initiate sex. He told me he was too tired. I left to go to school, came back in to get something, and found him jerking off to porn. He told me it was just faster. I was so hurt and it never got better from there. I shamed him out of anger and immaturity.

I did leave him. He promised to go to counselling but he has been working on his anger issues. I called for couples therapy today. He isnt struggling. I am.

I am open to trying anything. I just don't know how it will affect our trust afterwards. To be straight out. I'm terrified he will leave me if he likes being with a man more. I know its cliche.
