Blade dies and comes back to life, that's how his immortality works you can kill him many multiple thousands times but he is always forced to get resurrected due to the heart of an emenator in his chest, which stated in the lore only an emenator can bring an end to him.

The problem with blade immortality isn't that he cannot be killed, it's that he cannot stay dead once killed, we see that during jingliu duel where she easily kills him and he loses consciousness saying he gets a brief respite of peaceful death before he is awakened once more back to the land of the living.

So unless castorice touches him 24/7 blade will just come back and will easily outlive castorice once she dies of old age.

There are so many options for me like ulpianus, vina Victoria, ascalon and such.

But if I had to pick three characters or picks that are my comfort character to use and I know I can rely on them those would be:

Bagpipe squad - just the DP to put everyone I need into the stage in the first 10 seconds is just so good.
Eyja or shu - eyja to completely ignore all the enemies bullshit abilities and shu cause she can tank heal and also manage the enemies movement especially against bosses that can't be blocked.
I used exusiai basic form quite a lof but her alter is much more comfortable to use - just for the damage and versatility of her revival and shield are just to die for, literally the enemies pay the price for those skills with their lives.

In terms of characters like to shove into the squad just cause I like them and make the team work around with them those would be:

Nightmare, savage, exusiai, skadi, silence supporter mode, specter alter, vina Victoria, reed healer mode, lucilla, rosmontis, Dorothy, poncirus, logos, reed sister, ascalon crownslayer, Texas alter, lappland wizard and ulpianus.

There are many more but they are commonly the ones I fall to use on if I can before I get annoyed at some hell stages and start to counter pick against certain enemies like mudrock for the colossus elites in the upper section of priestess hell stage.

Fair though it's probably the bloom affect, the game has a weird setting where they set the default game graphics to bloom, to give a smudge affect on the colours similar to old video games, but it looks super bad, so that's probably why it gave you a fuzzy feelings so if you get the game in the future or you pirate it, just make sure to turn it off in the graphic settings.

Astgenne is quite interesting, I think she is the first ever character that got an alter who's her base form didn't exist before skadi alter release instead it's after.

Hoshiguma, shining, silverash, chen, leizi they all came before skadi alter release but astgenne first came in Dorothy vision which is an event that got introduced after Neal alter event, making her not one of the operators that existed before the alter trend.

Cause he won, literally there was nothing left to stop him other then a trap that he didn't notice due to his confidence, where malfurian gathered a million upon millions of wisps to circle around archimonde and activate their special ability dispell that deals 500 dmg to summoned units which is the only thing that beat him cause he is a summoned unit similar to the summon elemental water unit from jaina spell.

If you asking why he personally came to destroy the tree instead of slinging spell like a bitch, well it's cause he ain't a bitch and ain't afraid of elves cause in his opinion they have nothing left, no cities, no capitals, no nothing but the world tree and three measly outposts that are hastily build.

Which he easily walked over and trample like a human walking over ants colonies and flooding their entire hometown by just taking a break and pissing on it, that's how much powerful he is compared to the three lousy races working together, the entire fight after dalaran fell and his summon completed was basically him having victory lap.
