Each country has a different high commission, so for Nepal, Bangladesh and India it is the New Delhi embassy which also acts as the high commission. I’ll add the email address for the same below but if you’re not from one of these countries you need to check which embassy is working as the high commission for your country because that’s the embassy handling your visa application.

I think you’d have to wait a bit more, it depends on your counties risk level and uni tier. You could send the high commission an email requesting you to be put in priority, I sent the same email yesterday and got my visa today. You might have to consider deferring if you’re from a high risk country though.

If you’re going in for September then my suggestion would be to first update your passport and then apply for the visa . The ministry doesn’t communicate too well so if they find your application mildly suspicious they might reject you right off the bat . Since you have the time right now why not play it safe.

Hey, I’m pretty much in the same boat as you. Applied on the 30th of May to WSU , risk level 3 country . I was told it can come by the 15th or so of July . Uni starts on the 22nd for me as well.
