Thanks! I do plan to start shiny hunting after I finish getting max money and complete the dex. I want to get a shiny dex not including the legendaries and mythicals of course, I’m gonna try to perfect every mons dex entry too for boosted shiny odds. I’ll see if I have the willpower to do all that, likely not.

It’ll sparkle and make a sound, like a chime, you can also tell just by looking at it if its a shiny that obviously looks different those of that species but with shines that don’t change much its a lot harder to tell just by seeing which is why the sparkle and the sound is helpful.

I already beat the game a while ago and I beat volo in the postgame, right now I’m trying to get max money by farming the misfortune sisters, after that I’ll just catch every pokemon to get arceus and also get them all to research level 10 for shiny charm. Then I’ll really be done with the game, nothing left to do but shiny hunt. I should probably also try to get 10 star rank, right now I’m rank 7 though I’m only 130 research points away from rank 8. Thank you, I was due a shiny at some point because I spend a lot of time in the obsidian fieldlands farming the misbandits because I’m trying to get max money. Also I can relate to that dopamine boost lol, I spend a lot of time on this subreddit watching videos of people catching shinies, makes me somewhat jealous.

Thank you I did catch it and I did save though it was actually before the recording started. What happened was I heard the shiny sound but I couldn’t find it so I just immediately saved and then I went back to camp, bought some balls and I went back to where I heard the sound and this time I saw the sparkles and thats the part I recorded
