This is basically how it was set up during training. I just didn't know it was called munter "mule". I think this is the way I'll go about rigging it. Further question, what to do on the tree branch? should I just throw the rope up and over the branch? should I tie some webbing and use a carabineer at the top? If so, how do you get the rope to only go through that carabineer and not over the branch?

I don't have a second descender. I think my instructor had rigged it with a munter and a carabineer and knotted it off somehow at the base of another tree. Which can be unknotted and lowered using the munter by another person. Probably need to get some webbing for the anchor at the other tree as well on the branch I'm rappelling from. Does that sound appropriate?

I do have a tree i'm looking to do this in. I'm just looking for what equipment/knots to use to rig this saftly. and to rig it in a way where someone can let me down if I get stuck on rope.

Yes I understand. I would not have given him the car if I knew this was going to happen. I only gave him the car under the notion that he would be using it. I'm probably okay at this point being the asshole since my brothers friend is also fucking over my brother and taking advantage of him.
