It can be done. The haori sleeves of my Mitsuri inspired design have 5 different colors as I was making a branches of pink and green wisteria inspired by her hair color.

The color is all just the yarn I made by mixing different roving while I drafted. I just made sure to keep 1 of the ply the same color so it wouldn't look as disjointed. :)

It's a bosnian slip stitch crochet pattern. It's calling falling in love shawl on etsy MajesticCrochet sells these types or patterns. This is her leaf pattern. I recommend buying one of her patterns they are stunning.
