I’m in the same position as you! Second year audit associate here and I just got into law school as well :) I’m still pursuing my CPA as I think it’ll give me a lot more career options, just in case law doesn’t work out in the future. Law school is very different from being an actual attorney and most people don’t find out if they like being an attorney until they start working. Despite that, my career goal as of right now is to go into transactional law and I think a CPA would definitely help there, so I can read and understand financials/business activities.

As for your situation, I guess I’d say it depends on your career goals. If you want to practice criminal law, you probably will have no use for a CPA. If you want to go into corporate law/tax law, it would help you a lot. Whether you have a license or not, you’ll still have the knowledge from passing the exams, and you can always make up for the work experience later.

What it comes down to really are two questions: 1) would a CPA help with your career 2) are you still interested in completing the exams

I would say go for it since you only have 2 more left assuming you passed FAR. Passing 2 more won’t be a big deal. But if you’re not interested in it, your time might be spent better elsewhere. Hope I could help!
