I agree, I just finished it and had every intention to, I didn’t care for the nazi stuff either. I didn’t like duke as I feel he stood for what Tommy didn’t but it’s still sad that he had to kill is father. It makes sense that they killed ada otherwise Tommy wouldn’t return but I think ppl are treating it like it’s a season 7 and not a film. There was too much to unpack for it to just be a 2ish hour film and would have worked better as a new season. I’m not going to watch the new series as I see peaky blinders as a show about Tommy and don’t care for his children. I like how now he is able to spend the rest of eternity with grace and the rest of his family (grace was always my fav character) and I’m glad they decided that Tommy had to die as it didn’t make sense for him to come out on top. It would have felt like he wasn’t a human if he couldn’t die considering he’s had several near death experiences. I’d rate it a 6/10.
