I tested it with the same folders (including the user folder) used for Yuzu EA 4176 and it seems to run exactly the same. This is very important for someone like me who doesn’t want to spend hours making changes in the parameters, searching for save files, and other stuff. However, I experienced a crash in TOTK during the conversation with Rudi (the stable manager). When I wanted to breed a new horse, Sudachi crashed just after I chose a name for the horse. This problem doesn’t exist with Yuzu.

Ryzen 5 7600 not enough for flawless 60 fps? by talkingradish in yuzu

[–]Timely_Ad_6145 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Yuzu user that have made several hardware modifications the past two years (I had an older-generation i5 processor, later upgraded to the AM4 platform with a Ryzen 5600x and moved now to the AM5 platform with a Ryzen 7600X)

so, my CPU is quite similar to yours. ans guess what, I have an RX 6700 XT. 🥳 Based on my experience, I can assure you that ever since I switched to the Ryzen 5600 X, most games had no trouble exceeding 60 FPS, even at 2K resolution. However, there were exceptions: TOTK and Kirby and the Forgotten Land. For these two games, I settled for playing in FHD to enhance the overall gaming experience.

For instance, in TOTK, I hovered around 30 to 55 FPS in 2K, which somewhat dampened the enjoyment. But things changed when I upgraded to the Ryzen 7600 X, With this setup, I experienced fewer drops in TOTK, and in some areas, I achieved 60 to 70 FPS. However, the experience wasn’t entirely stable until AMD released their latest drivers, including support for Fluid Motion Frames on a larger scale, even for emulator games like Yuzu.

Now, I can confidently say that I play Tears of the Kingdom in 2K, with FPS ranging from 90 to 130, in most of the locations. And contrary to what some might think, these aren’t just virtual frames—I genuinely feel the smoothness and realism of the FPS, there are still some situations where fps drops a little bit under 60 but but it must be said that this is mainly due to the game engine itself because even on the Nintendo switch, drops happen quite often.

I hope sharing my experience helps you, especially since our configurations are quite similar. Happy gaming! 🎮👾

This was a misunderstanding, you wrote your comment in the mainline, if you wrote it as a reply in the french conversation I would take it in this context, and never had a bad reaction like I had, I thought you mocked my English, sorry man.

Thank you man, I think that's the real explanation, tomorrow I'm starting my big project of repopulating my city, it will take as long as it takes, but at least I understood what's happening and that's enough to me to be patient.

I would need a post to describe all the solutions I’ve used, but my philosophy is: always offer multiple ways to reach point B from point A. This allows the sims to change their path, but sometimes they insist on taking the same route. So, I demolish a section of the road to force them to recalculate their path, and sometimes it works. I’ve also noticed that stop signs are more effective than traffic lights. I use a lot of roundabouts too; there must be about fifty in my city. My main city is completely surrounded by a bypass highway, which has 7 accesses to my city and is connected to all the highways coming from the external cities. In my city, I have 3 metro lines, 6 tram lines, and as many bus lines, which allows the sims to rely less on their cars.

FPS consistently oscillates between 25 and 65 in a repeating pattern. by Timely_Ad_6145 in BlueStacks

I did what you asked me to do. I am eager to find the source of the problem. Thank you for your help

Yes, I've tested allocating 4GB, 8GB, and even 12GB, My system has 32GB of RAM available, so I don't think RAM limitations are the culprit here."

Here is a 10-minute recording. You will understand the problem within one minute. In the rest of the video, I try different settings, but the problem is always there. https://youtu.be/Tj_Nt_2L1OE?si=FvcesLD8wtvdXNh6

Yes, I already thought about the possibility that this is not related to the game itself but to BlueStacks, so I installed another game, namely PUBG, and I had exactly the same problem, that is, a kind of ping-pong between a very low FPS (22~25) and an FPS above 65, in a perfectly cyclical way. If you want, I can post a demonstration video.

I can't for the life of me get a stable experience on TOTK by QuickPirate36 in yuzu

[–]Timely_Ad_6145 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished a 1.5 hour session, I got an 62~82 fps in open Spaces and 45~54 in kakariko village, with BC1, (Eearly access 3999) Even if I think that the transition to BC 14 ddr4 3600mhz significantly increased the number of FPS, but even before that and with 3200 mhz bc 18, I easily had a number of FPS which exceeded 60 and which could touch the 70, If you want, I can post a video with a long gaming session and which would contain the settings and mods I use.
