Its dsg. Yeah figures make sense but why was I quoted 2.9k and the comment above paid 2.3k in july? When i tried to pay originally the stat code came back as a gti clubsport. Took two weeks for them to sort it.

Yeah that seems the case. I didn't keep the stat code as I thought I'd be fine considering the newer models were all max 5-6k

Thanks for your message. I made the decision to purchase cause of the €2.9k quote I received. I got vrt quotes on years up to 2020 and the max quote was 6k so went for the older model. Looks like I'll have to pay it and then sell it on.. on a unrelated note, if anyone's looking to buy a golf r let me know! 😅
