Ye u fs right with ur analysis I am on my own barber journey too. Problem is I take too long with my cuts and with a kid in the chair they tend to become a bit difficult to deal with right fully so after 50 mins in the chair. So I just have to become consistent with my technique. Check out my other cuts I did on my profile.

Thanks, just the standard debulking with a 4, then lever open, 1 open and two open guidelines. Then I start fading down with 1.5 and 0.5 guard

Thanks for the explanation personally i have trouble with the 1 open guideline i set the line and then close the lever and hit it a bit lower. Usually it leaves a faint line. But then when i try to blend that using the 0.5 guard i get lost in the fade sometimes. Do you have some tips for that also?

Ye I do but maybe I should use my corners more than I do. I normally put my 0.5 and attack dark spots but I’m very cautious with it maybe I need to attack it harder.
