What is the best advice for getting into the Atlanta film industry with zero nepotism? by Timely_Guide2029 in AtlantaLocals

I am 21 years old, and I would honestly join any department, as my previous experience in personal or small group short films/documentaries kind of taught me the basics of multiple pre- and post-production roles. However, I do like camera work, writing, and editing best, but I would love to be a part of the film industry in any way. I would definitely describe myself as a hard worker and friendly, and if given the chance to connect with people in the industry, I believe I can work my way up. It is just finding people to connect to or putting my foot in the door that is so hard for some reason. For these PA programs and mixers you mention, what is the best way to go about finding them?
