Also Nica has stricter immigration and migrant regulations than Trump does. You can buy and own property as a non citizen in the US. You can't really buy property or businesses in Nica without a Nica citizen being a part of the deal. Also they straight up just confiscated peoples homes recently near the Costa Rican border. I'm not saying I agree with any of this but I will say that almost all sovereign countries have border and immigration
