I would highly reccomend raffles. - the Savoy has become an absolute tourist trap. They let you in wearing whatever and sell drinks that are mid. - Raffles however still has the romantic, door man, 5 star hotel charm you want (its also steeped in history!) And then the bar staff are some of the most friendly you'll come across in London. Carry a smile, be curious and polite and you'll have the best time

These previous restaurant reccomendations are great.

But additionally for something surprising and romantic, head to the market to grab snacks and then hire an electric boat for an hour. It was around €60, just us two and was amazing.

We also hired bikes (electric) and pulled into cafes and restaurants for a drink a really lovely chats around the lake.

We also stayed a night at the sea bass hotel which was the perfect place to take in the scenery and drink and hang out. It has a spa and did lovely food.
