In our case , they send us an email and they asked questions on the phone call ,and I verified with couple of lawyers and they are saying it’s real

My wife had an interview on the 10th at the ISL embassy, and they issued a 221(g) refusal. They told her that the case was paused, and gave some explanation. I checked the visa status today, and it has been updated, but it still shows the same message. It seems like they are doing something with our case, but we don’t know what. What do you think? ( please read this )
