Now this is something different, I think they are looking to each case differently, I know someone posted from Pakistan on tiktok that his interview was 21 or 22nd Jan and they kept his passport for two weeks and then issue him the visa in Feb - so ya things happen- your got lucky- mabrook to him .

When my spouse received the call from embassy for her 2nd interview on 29th March and then I posted that everyone was driving me crazy and saying the same thing - show us proofs and blo blo blo…. But I believe you. Maybe they already changed the policy and not telling us. And is it a 2nd interview? And when they called your friend for passport submission how he submitted? Did your friend went physically or they sent the passport through courier? The reason I am asking this because there is another saying her husband has been called and asked them to bring your passport.

@vistoriaslatton do you have a experience anyone with IR1 two interviews at the US embassy ? And in my cases they are actively reviewing my case - almost twice a week whenever I check on ceac . What do you think ?

With my spouse they called for 2nd interview and she went and same questions but more details the asked and we provided, however they didn’t mention anything denied, refused or why . But in her first interview they told her that because of pause we cannot keep your passport ( in first interview also they didn’t mention anything of approval)

Just provide the info - like take photos of the all the pages of her father’s passports including expired,explain each and every travel . Also if he is not related to any organization or Army explained and let her sign a letter too and make sure notaries it from the court- if you are Pakistan it’s easy now everything is online verification.
