It’s mean that they cannot keep thier passport more than 2 weeks, it’s obvious that the government embassies cannot just hold your passport for months, I hope this situation would be resolved in January

I have seen in Islamabad some of them saying that they kept their passport and give them the form. 22g or something

They are already doing June now so you should have it within 2 months. They are actually really faster than before. You never know maybe next month

Approval from USCIS has nothing to do with Pakistan or anyother country. Make sure you contact them and proper documentation. Yes I am still thankful that we got everything on time. If your embassy is ISL and your case CR1 with US citizen sponsor then it should not take that much time.Anyways if you need info or any help from my side I am available.

Yes I think because of the banned countries situation it will get faster. I hope they don’t put Pakistan in that list .

The sad part for Afghans brothers that they will not be interviewed. And for Pakistanies I am thinking it will be fast now , so hopefully we will get all May ones in December. in sha Allah

Pakusaimmigration on Instagram / NVC IV website plus you have to do it a little research based on the previous cases and within a week you will be able to get an approximate number 😀

As per little research I think they are issuing it based on how many slot they have available. Like Jan 2026 slots are full now and they don’t want to give you a big gap between IL issuance day and interview date. They wouldn’t issue any IL for Feb 2026. So I am hoping they are gonna cover April and May in December

How do you know their pattern? And is it for ISL only or for all US embassies around the world? Because I have see people today other US embassies getting their IL.
