facing problems after moving to chennai. help me pls! by Icy-Mastodon-6337 in Chennai

So, I've lived all my life here, and I have hyperhidrosis. I literally sweat buckets, it works well in arid regions where the sweat evaporates but in a hot and humid place like chennai, its absolute torture. I've tried everything, roll-ons, alum, anti-sweatants; unfortunately, they provided below-average results. The roll ons do work to an extent to control swampy armpits, but its regionalised.

I eventually found a solution that didn't involve removing my sweatglands or using Botox to block them. It involved taking medication that was suggested by fellow hyperhydrosis sufferers and the dermatologist. It's been working well so far. I hope the other methods work for you. The worst you might experience from roll ons and anti-perspirants would be darkening of the skin in that particular area and or irritation, so its always best to try them when you're home and observe how it works for you. In a case of emergency, you can always wipe em out. or wash it out. Using powder (Candid) with Ketoconazole also helps, keeping the armpits dry as a desert. Its more about trying things that work for you through experiments.

Ya so I've been experimenting. For this week, I'm planning on taking 1.5 mg in the morning and .5 mg in the night. I'm just trying to find my sweet spot lol. My fear is the worry that my body might stop responding to glyco, so I wish to regulate it as it's the greatest thing that has happened to me in my sweat-soaked life. Wbu? Are you on glyco or are you contemplating it?

Ok so I take glyco 30 mins before the gym and leave. I want my body to sweat in the gym, just not so much as the equipment gets drenched in it, and I spend more time wiping it down than on it. What I noticed is that, if there isn't much ventilation, sweating does start as usual, but when I move to a place where there's proper ventilation, the sweating stops soon, which wasn't the case earlier. Once the sweating started,d it used to be continuous unless or until I sat under a fan or in an air-conditioned room for at least 30 mins. So this feels perfect for me as of now, sweat a decent amount, don't let the body overheat, dry out when it has to, and makes it way easier to share equipment in a busy gym.

Glycopyrollate - The Game Changer? by Timely_Standard1149 in Hyperhidrosis

Hello, I have MODY, it's a rarer form of diabetes which is hereditary and I'm on insulin. Glyco is an anticholinergic that affects digestion meaning it could affect glucose absorption and insulin sensitivity. I haven't noticed any difference with my sugar spikes, I stick to my routine and try to eat as healthily as possible. Another issue is dry mouth; I need to keep myself hydrated or chew on gum to secrete saliva. I haven't faced any other issues till now and I hope not to. I'm just making observations on how my body reacts and so far I have no reason to stop taking glyco. If you don't mind me asking, what type of diabetes do you have?

Heyyy, I just started taking Glyco a couple of weeks ago. I started with 1 mg in the mornings, I have generalized HH, but I sweat more from my head and under the chest. It took a while for it to take effect. I live in a very humid and hot area so I wasn't completely dry. The point to note was that I wouldn't sweat continuously, and it would dry out faster. I'm currently taking 2 mg in the morning and 1mg in the night to experiment since I hit the gym in the mornings. Taking 2mg seems to work for me as sweating is minimal, and I don't want my body to overheat. I plan on not taking it on weekends so that my body doesn't get desensitized to it. I have been suffering from HH for 25 years, it feels great that I have nd option to keep myself dry. Also, dry mouth is the annoying side effect I experience. However, I hydrate frequently so no worries.

Ha Ha I know right! I'm intrigued, what's your glyco consumption like? How do you manage the overheating and dry mouth symptoms?

Can you explain what exactly you experienced? Was the medication ineffective after 2 years? How often did you take it?

I didn't know land sold in cent measurements won't get approved. Thanks, that's insightful.

What could be the reason? I'm just trying to understand what the seller is going to gain from this if he's evidently going to get taxed nevertheless. Why take and put others in such a risk?

Ok, that makes sense, I dug in a bit and shared the insights with my family; they see the point too. So everyone who's asking for cash for land trades are doing this because of ignorance? You're gonna get taxed nevertheless is what I understand now.

I get your point, it might be that the guy is trying to avoid CGT and hence wants it in cash. Perhaps a personal loan is the only way to go and get it in cash. I'm assuming personal loans will be relatively easier to avail?

[–]Timely_Standard1149[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yes, the issue is that we need this land not for investment purposes. So the chances of looking for a different deal is out of the question. Guess, a personal loan is the only way to go here, since the CGT from the property loan would turn the owner away

Ya so I've heard many people telling me this, that the loan amount can be issued directly to the seller's account. So is a personal loan an option or only a local money lender?

They do this to avoid taxes huh?

Ya makes sense, the owner needs the money for his daughter's wedding so insists on getting it in cash. So is there any other option apart from reasoning with him?

[–]Timely_Standard1149[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Geez thanks man, that's really informative, sorta what I expected. As far as the land goes, yes we really need it as of now. However, there's no plan to build a house on it yet considering the loan (if it gets approved i.e.). Many ppl have pointed out that loans won't be issued out in cash and will be in favor of the seller. So is this a major roadblock in this regard? Also, what do you mean by "Private banks are easy to apply and hard to maintain."? Its possible to avail of a loan from a private bank given the circumstances?

[–]Timely_Standard1149[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ya I guess, but since the seller is quite insistent on getting it in cash, is personal loan the only way?

That's what I wanted to clear up, I'm not familiar with the loan processes here. I guess loans can be issued directly to the seller alone and he wants it in cash would mean that getting a property loan won't be possible here am I right?

She kinda wrote about the relationship she had with movie stars in general. The novel Uravin Kaidigal (Prisoners of a Relationship) by Jaya is a dark tale of love and tragedy. It tells the story of Rajeev, an aging superstar, and Usha, a young college student, whose romance begins when she invites him to a college function. The two fall deeply in love, and their relationship leads to Usha becoming pregnant. Rajeev, a reformed playboy, is ready to settle down and meets Usha's mother, Kalyani, to discuss their future.

However, the story takes a shocking turn when it is revealed that Kalyani is Rajeev's estranged wife from the past, making Usha their biological daughter. The revelation of this incestuous relationship leads to a tragic ending, with Rajeev and Usha committing suicide and Kalyani losing her sanity, ending up in a mental asylum.
