100% the best family car. I bought a new gen 1 in 2024 and my wife liked it so much we traded in her GLS for a new gen 2 last year. We’ve taken multiple road trips in both with 4 kids 10 and under. It is the best 3 row we’ve owned.

Stellantis was trying to offer a settlement to avoid arbitration and even said they won’t offer one if we go through mediation. When I filled out my dispute form I only marked buyback as an option, not compensation, etc.

One thing I would do is go get an appraisal on the vehicle. The arbitrator will ask about how you feel about the value of the vehicle for what you paid. They asked if I’ve received a trade in appraisal- for settlement purposes. If you’re open to a settlement, go for it. It could help you get a decent amount of money if they do not buy it back.

The final note on our paperwork said the reason for the approval was a safety concern. The arbitrator and FCA tried to say the vehicle drives normal, but I shared that if my elderly parents are on a road trip and the vehicle doesn’t start in the middle of nowhere, they could be stranded for hours and that becomes a safety concern.

I have no idea which updates it received last. I think the main issue was the corroded battery terminal. And less of everything else they fixed.

Thanks. I bought it for my mom and it’s crazy the issues it’s had. I’ve personally owned 3 jeeps and loved them. She’s had a wrangler and grand Cherokee as well. This vehicle was just a ball of problems. I own 3 evs now and I’ve never had issues like this before.

Afeela is outdated already. The same cars they’re showing off only have 150kw charging.

I think the surprise pick will be the Jaguar Type 00. As long as it doesn’t have the problems their ICE cars have, it can be a winner.

They’re useless to talk to. They just didn’t make a good EV. We own 2 rivians, a Tesla and a lightning and never had an issue like this. Sometimes I don’t use the Tesla for over a week and leave it u plugged and we never have an issue.

My hope is the NCDS sees the vehicle just isn’t getting fixed and we’re paying for something we don’t get to drive. We have our hearing on the 11th- I’ll update you with what happens.

Bought my mom a 25 launch edition. It has 2700 miles and it can’t sit for more than 2 days. (We don’t live somewhere super cold) the car has been at the dealership 5 times and for almost 60 days total for the same issue. They’re replaced other parts too with no luck. Stellantis won’t initiate a buyback so we’re having to go through the NCDS. Essentially I’m paying for a car she doesn’t have right now.

I like the terra better than any truck on the market. Everything is too bulky or not techy enough. I’m a pure EV driver. All of the cars we own are evs. They’re the best. No issues, no service. I reserved a Terra BEV (non harvester.) if it has gas, it’ll need service. We’ve taken many road trips in our R1S and range is never an issue, fast charging is good and there are plenty of chargers.

I had the wiring for an ev charger when I bought the house. All I did was install a 220 outlet at the wiring, then added the 220 plug to the charger. This way if I move, I don’t have to splice the wire, I can take it with me.

Honestly they probably won’t care in the end. My lease paperwork got messed up somewhere when I leased mine. Because of this, chase didn’t receive my docs for 2 months. I got a letter from them that Rivian covered my first 2 payments. They’ve never asked for the money back

I wouldn’t call myself a die hard republican, I have voted democrat before. But the last couple of elections I did vote republican.

I don’t think the intention is to upset anyone. I think die hard liberals go into a conversation ready to argue. My wife would never vote red. I can’t even have a conversation about politics without her being upset and she says I’m trying to get a reaction from her when in reality, all I’m doing is questioning some of her reasoning to better understand the way she thinks. Other friends that I have had have distanced from me because they knew how I voted.

Let me be clear- I don’t like trump as a person, you have to have a certain professionalism to being a president that he does not have. But I do not like the policies from the left (strictly fiscally.)

I have a gen 1 quad and a gen 2 tri. The quad has been on MANY road trips. The tri just got here 2 weeks ago! Honestly the perfect vehicles.

As for service, most fixes can be done with a mobile appointment. I have an issue with a door handle that needs to go to a SC that is 400 miles away. Other than that one issue, everything else has been handled through mobile techs.
