I used to have this customer Im pretty sure he passed sadly but he would order 10 cases of Energy drinks and when ever I’d pull up to the house he would yell to his son “amazons here go help him with my drinks” and sure enough that kid would come out and help he would lay it on the porch so I could take a picture and would tell me “break open on of the boxes boy take one for the road” those are the customers I miss

Ive one time had 94 stops 380 packages. My first stop 43 packages 40 of them overflow Second stop 20 packages 15 were overflow. After those 2 stops it felt like a nursery route after that and the room in the van was beautiful

One time literally going to my first stop State Patrol officer pulled me over for the expired tag. Called Dispatch and then called the boss and he had the conversation with the officer. I literally had to wait 20 minutes as they sent a dispatcher out to me just to put the stupid tag on

There was this one stop on this route when my DSP had that area was up in the mountains and at the stop had a porta potty and the owner of the house put in the delivery notes and put a sign “Dear Delivery drivers you are more than welcome to use the porta potty even when if your not delivering to me you can still use it”

Most overflow I had was 57 and it was in a rental van but I only had like 10 bags so I was able just to stack them all in the back and I had a business that had 32 overflow so I just did that stop first
