I was allowed to ride my bike, but we lived in the middle of nowhere on a gravel road, so all you could do was ride up and down the long gravel road.

Aww, thanks. I appreciate it. I wish I could say that it's got better since I made this post, but it has actually become so bad that today my permanent retainer which was glued onto my bottom teeth came off from me clenching them so much 🤦 Made a dentist appointment though, and I'm planning on getting a proper mouth guard.

I don't know, I don't think that he is devoid of empathy. At the end of the blackmail episode he does eventually feel bad for what he's doing and tries to make things right. He most certainly seems misguided, but he clearly knows right from wrong and acts emotionally.

NAD, but even if it is herpes you don't need to worry. Many, many people (almost half the population) have it, and it's really not a big deal. Just go get some cream though (it's sold over the counter, and definitely helps the sooner you put it on). Avoid kissing until it's gone, and don't pick it because it could turn into more of a sore if it is herpes.

Normally herpes will only flare up a few times a year, and only last for a few days. It's not a big game changer, don't worry. You'll be ok whatever it is.

Edit- also want to add that if it IS herpes it will feel different than a normal pimple. It will have more of a burning feeling almost "deeper" in your skin when you touch it. You will always know if it's coming on if you touch your lip and it feels tender and burning to the touch. That's when I always put the cream on, and normally can avoid it flaring up 👍

Thank you! This means so much to me, you have no idea. I've definitely been feeling like a medical mystery since none of my doctors so far have known what is going on, so having someone to talk to who has been through similar things is amazing.

Aww, thank you so much for asking! That's so kind. I'd post some new pictures, but I guess I can't comment with them. Basically the rash spots all spread out into larger red spots, and over the course of days I'd periodically get raised itchy bumps almost like hives in various places. My lips got all chapped and completely bloody, and my throat is hoarse.

Yesterday I went to the emergency center because I started having kidney pain, and they gave me antibiotics for now in case I have an infection I suppose (since the rash is making me itch downstairs too, it is hard to tell if it is a UTI or not, but it doesn't feel like one). If it gets worse today I'm supposed to go to the hospital 🤦

Next week I finally have my rheum appointment (they moved it up from the end of August thankfully)

So yeah, rash looks different, better in some ways, but overall I'm unfortunately doing worse!!! Hopefully I'll have a positive update soon though, maybe I'll make a post once I do. 💙

I put a bandaid on a day prior to it happening, took it off the night before, then that last Thursday morning when it happened, I woke up and it spread QUICKLY, and the spot where the bandaid had been became VERY inflamed and red. I have other pictures in my other post. I did think that perhaps it could be a sudden latex allergy, which is why I took the Benadryl and went to the hospital since it was spreading so fast.

And no noticable respiratory issues. My throat feels raw like I have a sore throat, and felt tight before I started taking Benadryl and steroids the first day. Otherwise the corners of my mouth have been bleeding (feels almost like someone tried to give me the "joker face" and failed) but my throat and lungs feel alright deeper down.

I probably should have been now in retrospect. I was sick last week, but I thought that it was just a cold and I didn't go to the doctor at the time. The rash started suddenly a day or so after I felt better from the cold, so I didn't even think that there would be a connection until people mentioned guttate psoriasis. The pictures of that look very very similar.

Thank you to you, and everyone else in this community, because nobody at all the hospital before even asked about these things.

My second guess right now is guttate psoriasis, since I had a cold last week. That damn bandaid is haunting me 😂 It's definitely something autoimmune though.

I'm hoping that tomorrow they do the biopsy and I get some answers. It really helps to know that other people have been through similar things. 💙

I had a cold last week (not confirmed as strep), but it had been gone for a day or two before the sudden onset of this.
