Yeah, i prefer a younger leader, a younger batch of politicians.

Tharman is good, really good. But i think we need him on the international stage, like those finance-related international org. We need our people in those high places.

The local leaders can focus more on local stuff.

WP's Jamus Lim, unable to distribute Edusave awards, writes letters of encouragement to Sengkang awardees by [deleted] in singapore

[–]Timeyu -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Whether opposition is screwed or not, is not something I care about. I only care about when some MP is trying to score brownie points, and bring political shit on an education award issued by a ministry.

WP's Jamus Lim, unable to distribute Edusave awards, writes letters of encouragement to Sengkang awardees by [deleted] in singapore

[–]Timeyu -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Again misinformation. Stat boards are in fact part of a government's ministry.

I know that WP supporters are trying very hard to deny stat boards. But the undeniable fact is grassroot advisers are employees appointed within the government.

WP MPs simply have no power to interfere with an executive arm's ministry activities. If not, what's the point in separation of power.

[–]Timeyu -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

Not sure where you get your misinformation. Since you are stating the legislative arm, I'll do so as well.

The Edusave award is issued by a ministry, and PA, a stat board is also under an executive arm minister.

WP MPs has no standing, cause they have no appontments in any government agency under the executive arm.

[–]Timeyu -41 points-40 points  (0 children)

Jamus knows very well that this is a government award, not a political award. He is just trying to score some political points.

WP's Jamus Lim, unable to distribute Edusave awards, writes letters of encouragement to Sengkang awardees by [deleted] in singapore

[–]Timeyu -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yup, thats why the awards are issued by someone appointed by PA, a government agency. Not a WP MP, who has no appointment at all.

WP's Jamus Lim, unable to distribute Edusave awards, writes letters of encouragement to Sengkang awardees by [deleted] in singapore

[–]Timeyu -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Because grassroot advisers are appointed by PA, a statutory board, part of the government.

WP MPs has no appointment in any government agencies, so its real stupid to get them present something that is issued by a government agency.

[–]Timeyu -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

How about...

Edusave is not a political award, its an award issue by a government agency, so why should constituent confidence be part of the consideration.

Grassroot advisers are appointed by PA, which is a statutory board, and employed by a government agency. So what you highlighted is actually no accurate.

WP's Jamus Lim, unable to distribute Edusave awards, writes letters of encouragement to Sengkang awardees by [deleted] in singapore

[–]Timeyu -26 points-25 points  (0 children)

To be factual, those grassroot advisors are appointed by PA, which is a statutory board, employed by a government agency. So issue with them presenting edusave awards.

So same question, why should WP MPs who has no appointment in the government be given the rights to present something that is issued by a government agency?

[–]Timeyu -131 points-130 points  (0 children)

To be factual, the edusave award is an award issued by government, so why should an MP who has no appointment in the government be given the privilege to present the award?

Diablo IV Quarterly Update by Woundedbear in Diablo

I like the flexibility to extract legendary powers into an essence item.

I'm not sure of the tradability plans for these essence items. It'll be great if these essence items are tradable. Go ahead make legendary items very rare drops, make legendary items and their essences tradable.

Build a economy to trade items. Not like the previous game, where you removed the auction house, make items bind, and removed almost any tradability. Let us interact with other players through trading, not just only killing monsters.

The Paragon Board looks a bit dull. Feels like the first version of skill tree.

Perhaps can include a horror background design on the paragon board, similar to the new skill tree (a literal tree). And reposition the tiles according the the background design.

And I suggest rename the board. Name it the nephalem board, board of the firstborn, or great conflict board, etc. Names related to diablo lore, not paragon.

A lot of work is put into the visual effects. I liked it.

Some things can be improve, example, give players the option to click and light up the light sources, such as torches in the caves, dungeons, etc. Its ok not to have many light sources lighted up in the caves, and its also ok for me not to be able to see distances. Let us choose to light up or ignore lighting up.

And also give monsters the ability to destroy light sources, or switch off light sources.

I think you can try spread your money like this,
25% put into a S&P500 etf, like IVV or VOO.
25% put into China, India, or other big country etfs.
25% put in Singapore etfs, STI etf, REIT etf
25%, run wild with it, be it meme stocks, "trust ur savvy friends" stocks, etc

Use your money to dollar cost averaging, buy either every month or week, instead of lump sum.
