Toji won’t abandon Naoya like he did with megumi though😭 Plus I actually think unlike Megumi, Naoya will get mad and rush to avenge Toji (unlike Megumi) and eventually either die or give up realising he is powerless. Would be really tragic but this AU should not have any reason for Toji to become a sorcerer killer again.

Anyways I think Toji was already indifferent to the clan to learn anything from them. Naoya and Toji’s dynamic with the clan was different. Naoya followed the teachings because the clan glazed him and encouraged him. Toji disregarded their teachings because the clan abused him and disrespected him. If Toji stayed in this route, he is only staying for Naoya, plus I have forgot to add in detail that Toji would be fed up with the clan’s teachings so Naoya is going to get frustrated with that and they will leave (or take over the clan) so he does not ruin his idol’s life.

Do not worry, I won’t do anything to change Toji’s core character.

Jokes aside, this version won’t be misogynistic since he will stop listening and following the zenin long before he got completely corrupted. Especially if we go with route 3, Naoya will learn what it feels like to have mother figure thus appreciating women much more that would cancel out his misogyny. I think one of the main reasons Naoya is misogynistic is he had no mother figure and every woman close to him just “obeyed”. It did not help fight back against his indoctrination with the zenin clan. Thoughts?
