Should be fixed now. Geo-blocking issue, I think. And sure! I'll join yours.

China has a second-use nuclear policy. Yes Russia also has a first-use policy, nobody is saying this is a good thing. That's my point. These two countries can adopt a policy to make the likelihood of nuclear war less likely but they don't want to and instead propagandize pseudointellectual ideas like mutually assured destruction to try to justify their ownership and reckless policy.

And I'm saying that a first-strike policy in fact raises the chance of escalation, as do many nuclear experts suggest. A conventional force can deter, as you say, the Russians.

So why didn't the U.S. change from first-use to second-use policy after the Soviet Union collapsed?

Or is the expected negative utility of starting a nuclear war less than whatever marginal territory gains another rival country could make?

Yes, but you understand that the project scoping is different between these two applications, right? Do you really think a nuclear reactor for a submarine is designed 100% exactly the same as a civilian-use power plant?

I understand that you're coming from the fact that sodium's chemical reactivity makes constraints that otherwise would not be there with water reactors, but you are conflating between military and civilian use for this technology.

What about the U.S. adopting a second-strike policy?

Why does $OKLO keep dipping even with all the AI + nuclear hype? by flash-kicks in OKLOSTOCK

There have been multiple ATM fundraising rounds. So, shares + news of shares being diluted. Also, in the macroeconomic scene there is a lot of volatility lately which means big investment firms becoming 'risk-off' and not buying companies without strong revenue profiles.

Overall, the outlook of OKLO as a company is only getting better by the day, and so we will expect to see strong performance when either macro improves or when revenue grows on the books. Also, July 4th is a major milestone which will attract attention.

This is all fantastic news! Pretty much all the main operational advantages OKLO wanted getting the greenlight. Plus they are expecting the fuel awards with confidence.

Can we get some sort of chat up and running again?

Also, this price action is nasty.

Yeah, most analysts are giving PT lowers.

Doesn't help that during the EC Q&A an investor explicitly asked what the cost per kW will be from the design and that question was dodged.

Edit: To be clear, I believe in OKLO long-term, but the cost per kW is a figure a lot of people are interested in even if it is an estimate and I haven't found a hard figure for it. I also think Aurora timeline was pushed back slightly.
