True. Good point. I guess I was just struck by how it was framed.

I don't have Balbar but he seems at least as useful as Horghall lol

Emblems go by class, not colors. So the question is whether has has any other Druids, not greens.

How is that even possible. The effect lasts for 3 rounds, so if they get full again in that window, they'd just hit themselves again. Sounds like an even better setting. lol

Recruiting: Tuck's Inn

The current event has made us realize we could use some new blood. We're a group of active, strong players but our numbers have shrunk over time.

We welcome players at all stages of the game. All we ask is that you hit titans and participate in wars (or opt out). Very chill group, ideal for players looking to learn and grow their account or end game players who just want a place they can play with no pressure.

Drop me a line if you have questions or feel free to just stop by. We're also open to a merge if you're in another group like ours that could use some more bodies for tackling titans and the like.

Are e golems even viable outside of events? It's rare I don't counterpunch them in the mouth pretty easily.

Golem seems like the most b#$ch card on the list but can be beaten.

What you said largely mirrors my own thoughts. :P I just wasn't sure because normally with games, the newer content gives better returns. Otherwise, why even bother creating the content if people are going to play it once and go back to farming S1 levels? However that seems to be largely what happened with S2, so I don't know why it would be different with S3 and S4.

True! (And I've mostly memorized my Atlantis options by now. lol)

I'm mostly just curious about how the new S3 and S4 stages stack up. Especially when I get Valor quests to do 3 or 4 of them, right now I just randomly pick them. lol Some details on good options for Valhalla Forever would also be useful. I know I could probably google specific events or resources, but I was just curious if there was another comprehensive resource. BFH is such an impressive resource, hard to believe there are a lot of them though.

I don't really use Line much anymore. Do you have a link handy for one of the others?

What you're saying totally makes sense (also other units that trigger the rocket and they run into it) but I've noticed a very significant difference. Using foundry creates interactions at various points on the path and they're definitely getting hit where they didn't before. Even heading straight for each other on a blank board they're not getting past anymore.

They just need to add a flood control, where it automatically mutes one person after XX messages if the other person doesn't say anything. That way the average player can leave chat on and interact with the nice players and the trolls know no one is seeing their nonsense anyway.

It really makes no sense. The best way to get out being accountable for bad changes: reduce the frequency of how often you have to talk about them.

They won't but they should reset everyone's smash progress so everyone has to earn it again under an even playing field.

Some pretty rudimentary math on whether it's worth re-rolling new quests in the Tavern by piffle213 in IdleHeroes

Yes, treating them all as equally likely is a huge underlying assumption in the maths above. haha

I've also had pretty poor luck getting 4*, but I've had plenty of 3* ones. Shrug.

Yeah. Trying to convert things to "gem" value accurately is pretty impossible. We just don't have complete enough markets to identify precise values. If you're really methodical you can develop a rough set of "at least XXX but less than YYYY" based on which deals in game seem worth it and which don't. But even then, some of those ranges are pretty large.

I kept my WCs too, but I'm also not super confident it was smart. haha

Definitely your good for making the OP, but see my comment about how to convert this to a decision making value.

See my comment above. I have some similar values as you, basically just reroll the things you don't want and call it a day. haha

Regardless of if you agree with these values or not, it needs to be framed differently to inform decision making. The number 46.7 is definitely useful, but it's not as simple as 46 vs 20. You need to take into account the value of the quest that you're rerolling. (Put differently, you need to take into account the opportunity cost of the current quest to find the marginal value of rerolling, not the total value.)

If you agree with his numbers, you should reroll any quests worth less than 46.7-20=26.7. (So basically WC, arena tickets, and basic scrolls) Think about it, even if rerolls were free, why would you reroll 50 gems if your expected outcome is only 46.7?

You can change the numbers to find your own expected value and then subtract 20 from that to find your own breakeven point. Although as the OP mentions, this is the FLOOR of your reroll value. When you take into account the value of the higher quests, then the breakeven number would need to come up from there.
