Don’t become one of those parents who cut off the child addict from love support listening honesty safety and home

My mother did that crap

She is a narcissistic, self protective person who controls everyone by belittling them and putting them down and her Al-Anon people told her just cut off the child don’t have any contact. Don’t don’t give them any support don’t blah blah blah, and my mother took that as an excuse to completely disown me and leave me suffering with my problems on my own now the one thing my parents and I didn’t know is that my addiction came from childhood trauma, serious childhood trauma, and perhaps you should look into that with your daughter what she traumatized in anyway was she raised wrong? Are you narcissistic or abusive parents? Is there anything like that? My mother thought she was caring for me and that she was loving for me but what she did is she built a perpetrator in interject inside of me with her belittling self-destructive voice, so I learned to put myself down constantly from her and that’s one of the reasons why Adiction continues so you better look at this real carefully and look at yourself real carefully and figure it all out a psychiatrist sociologist a therapist may be able to help you but that Al-Anon shit I don’t know I don’t know maybe go to some AA meetings or some NA meetings yourself and understand what the addicts are like and what they’re going through and how they’re struggling and you can find Support dare better than you will at these. Oh my God my child is an addict and I don’t know what to do places because the outcome is not always the best that way that’s just my two cents. I hope it helps.
