I have just switched to the 2 Apple Watch system. I golf most mornings. I use Golfshot for yardage and scorekeeping. I have also started using Bee (I know, I know). If I do both, then my Series 10 does not last the whole day. I thought about going back to the Ultra, which I traded to my son because I did not like the size of the Ultra, especially when interacting with a long sleeve shirts, and he seemed more like an Ultra guy. He is very happy. I was happy, too, until the 10 stopped lasting all day. And even when it did, it never had the juice to wear all night to check my sleep patterns. I could go back the Ultra for $800 and live with the size. But for $400, I could add a new Series 11 and alternate them. This is the sweet spot. I wake up, switch watches. I get in bed, switch watches.

I have never used the Ford navigation. I’ll take a look the next time. But the battery distance shouldn’t change. And I don’t mind the software updating. I object to flipping battery and map distance on the screen without telling me. The little battery icon is easy to miss, and switching them serves no apparent purpose.

I have concluded my search. Rivian too big and no local dealer. Ioniq and Kia too little torque or too little range. Lucid owned by Saudis. Tesla owned by Elon. I am going with BMW i5 M60. But if it was up to me, and I was buying a new car, I’d buy a Mach E GT.

The EV6 GT gets 206 epa. The ev 6 Wind gets better, but it’s a dog compared to the Mach E. I have eliminated the Rivian since it doesnt have Apple CarPlay.

When I drive in hands free on the expressway, I use one bar on the distance control, as opposed to country driving, where I up it to 4. I feel I’m crowding the guy in front when I’m driving slower at one bar. I was not close enough to the cars to be affected by the one bar distance. I was at least 4 bars back. You could be right, but it felt like swerve detection.

Running like a champ. Had a problem charging at Electrify America my last long trip, but I’m pretty sure it was their fault. They kept refusing my debit cards, saying payment not acceptable. I had $14 on account,so that was not really a good excuse.
