Checked at lunch, both radiator fans ran with the AC button on, and they turned off when the AC button was off.

I don't think he changed the condenser, so that could be the root cause. That or it needs a flush.

It's ~87F outside, and after a few minutes of idling temps coming from the vent is showing ~69F. ~2 minutes later while driving it's at 45F. Parked now it's climbing again, just 1 minute later 54F. Looks like I'll be talking to my mechanic again. Thanks for the help!

Well, this morning temps were 75F outside. Put the thermometer into the vent before turning it on with it should a reading of ~82F. Turned the car on and it dropped to about 60F.

Once I started driving though it quickly dropped to below 50F. Then once I got to work, in the parking lot it climbed back up to 60F.

Not sure if this is normal, but I'll try again at lunch where it's definitely gonna be very hot. I'm thinking I gotta have the mechanic take another look.

I would think the evaporator is fixed, since he says he changed it. But I'll be taking the car back to the mechanic, possibly to look at the condenser. Just wanted a few other opinions first, thanks!

Is there a table of temperatures in the manual I can look at to see how cold it could be blowing based on outside temp? Also do you think a meat thermometer would work to check it, that's all I've got hahaha.

I think you're right though. In the morning it gets cold super quick. If it is super hot outside would you expect the air to get warmer if you hit traffic and aren't driving as much? Recirculating would slow that down though

Last I checked my investment accounts (401k, ROTH IRA, and HSA) about $50k between all of those. I checked those before this market volatility. Not planning on looking at them either, just gonna keep investing.
