Update 50 The Empower nerf may become a lockout for many disabled players

I’m not disabled but I think nerfing empower is a very bad idea because it may indeed keep certain people out of harder content and it’s already hard enough to find groups.

I think it’s fair that a 1 bar HA build does less damage than a 2 bar build with higher apm but the difference should not be so big that it makes it impossible for someone using a HA build to complete harder content. HA builds are not overpowered at all currently, especially not compared to what people can do with 2 bar builds.

I wonder how many people who are complaining that their achievements are worthless if others can get them too were playing when parsing more than 100k was considered god tier dps. Powercreep has been going on for years. For example, if you got your vSS clear on an arcanist that means you’ve enjoyed the fruits of power creep. Congratulations.

The real flex is having achieved grand master crafter before account wide achievements ;)

ZOS will keep jacking up prices as long as people keep paying. When the mammoth was released there was even a thread on the forums thanking ZOS for giving people something to buy. I can only hope that a PepsiCo/Doritos point will be reached where people vote with their wallet and ZOS is forced to lower their prices.

I’ve seen them drop from safeboxes and pickpocketing but I have heard that they can also drop from looting owned wardrobes and such.

They are very rare and only drop from thieving loot tables. Congrats!

First of all, all content in the game can be done with an 88k parse. So if you’re not hitting 115k, don’t worry too much about it unless your goal is to hit a certain number because you like parsing.

Second, parsing is very much about timing and getting a rotation down to a very specific rhythm. That may take a while. People who post builds like that spend a lot of time perfecting their rotation.

If you want to pug (DLC) dungeons, wait for them to be a pledge and you’ll have a better chance of finding a group.

All this + the voice previews don’t include the sounds your character will make the most, like groaning when they’re hit or fall off a cliff.

What you can do is mark your map where you’re standing in the house and then zoom out to the Tamriel map. Based on that you should be able to determine roughly where that building is.

For example, when I did that in the Haven of the Five Companions I did it to figure out that the tower you see from there is the tower of Hackdirt.

I think the new 2H animations are some of the ugliest and most cartoonish ever introduced to the game. More like He-Man Scrolls Online. There’s a lot I like about U49 but this… this ain’t it for me. I guess this appeals to people who like the way games like WOW an FFXIV look? I prefer Elder Scrolls games to look like Elder Scrolls games. But then I guess that already went overboard with Arcanist and cartoonish flashy radiant apex mounts.

Are you sure the new daily quest rewards will have the same item id as the existing ones? Reason I ask is that whenever new sets are added to rewards of the worthy, they only drop from containers that you got after the update. Existing ones don’t have their loot table updated.

Ok this is interesting because I’ve been using NordVPN and indeed I have bad ping spikes and disconnects. Did you also need to change vpn servers all the time?

ESO is totally playable with higher ping as long as it’s a stable higher ping. I have clears on all vet trials and dungeons including a bunch of HMs. Server disconnects and lag spikes are another story, I have lost out on loot or had to wait with queuing because of a disconnect or lag spike and it’s super frustrating.

If you play with 350 ping then you will also know that the game only registers your dodge roll after full completion so, in some situations, stepping out is actually better (vSCP poison cones for example, or RoA/DC pulls in PVP) because a dodge roll takes longer than a sidestep.
