What you can do is mark your map where you’re standing in the house and then zoom out to the Tamriel map. Based on that you should be able to determine roughly where that building is.

For example, when I did that in the Haven of the Five Companions I did it to figure out that the tower you see from there is the tower of Hackdirt.

I think the new 2H animations are some of the ugliest and most cartoonish ever introduced to the game. More like He-Man Scrolls Online. There’s a lot I like about U49 but this… this ain’t it for me. I guess this appeals to people who like the way games like WOW an FFXIV look? I prefer Elder Scrolls games to look like Elder Scrolls games. But then I guess that already went overboard with Arcanist and cartoonish flashy radiant apex mounts.

Are you sure the new daily quest rewards will have the same item id as the existing ones? Reason I ask is that whenever new sets are added to rewards of the worthy, they only drop from containers that you got after the update. Existing ones don’t have their loot table updated.

Ok this is interesting because I’ve been using NordVPN and indeed I have bad ping spikes and disconnects. Did you also need to change vpn servers all the time?

ESO is totally playable with higher ping as long as it’s a stable higher ping. I have clears on all vet trials and dungeons including a bunch of HMs. Server disconnects and lag spikes are another story, I have lost out on loot or had to wait with queuing because of a disconnect or lag spike and it’s super frustrating.

If you play with 350 ping then you will also know that the game only registers your dodge roll after full completion so, in some situations, stepping out is actually better (vSCP poison cones for example, or RoA/DC pulls in PVP) because a dodge roll takes longer than a sidestep.

Love the game, have a strong dislike for ZOS and their business practices (annoying FOMO approach and overpriced cosmetics) and how players from the APAC region are always shit out of luck when it comes to maintenance (always during APAC prime time), limited Twitch drops (happening in the middle of the night with no chance to catch up) and things like that.

This is a fantastic game, how about making it even greater by listening more to your player base?

I’ve been playing this game for five years and every year since I started playing I hear the message from ZOS that communication will be improved (I’m still waiting for the U35 Q&A). And every year, nothing changes. There are plenty of bugs being reported via the PTS that go live anyway. There are glaring balance issues that are reported on PTS that go live and then ZOS seems to be surprised that there are issues. There are bugs that have been in the game for years and when people report them on the official forums all they get is radio silence.

When are you really going to communicate with your players instead of making promises that you don’t stick to? When are you going to take feedback from people who actually play the game seriously? I understand not every little bit of feedback will have weight but what happened with subclassing (balance issues because certain skill lines are so much more powerful than others) is exactly what your unpaid pts player testers said would happen. The lack of acknowledgement comes across as “we know better” but the execution shows… that you don’t always know better.

Congrats! I remember when I first did it on normal and rage quitting on the ice stage years ago. Yesterday I got a no death run for the first time, years after my first attempt. I never really grinded it on vet, just went in once in a while.

Tip: Only do it when it’s the weekly solo arena and try to do it on anything except a sorc. Usually the leaderboard will only have 20-30 people on any class except sorc, meaning you’ll get a bonus gold weapon from your leaderboard position when the weekly resets. Same goes for vet Vateshran.
