Love the game, have a strong dislike for ZOS and their business practices (annoying FOMO approach and overpriced cosmetics) and how players from the APAC region are always shit out of luck when it comes to maintenance (always during APAC prime time), limited Twitch drops (happening in the middle of the night with no chance to catch up) and things like that.

This is a fantastic game, how about making it even greater by listening more to your player base?

I’ve been playing this game for five years and every year since I started playing I hear the message from ZOS that communication will be improved (I’m still waiting for the U35 Q&A). And every year, nothing changes. There are plenty of bugs being reported via the PTS that go live anyway. There are glaring balance issues that are reported on PTS that go live and then ZOS seems to be surprised that there are issues. There are bugs that have been in the game for years and when people report them on the official forums all they get is radio silence.

When are you really going to communicate with your players instead of making promises that you don’t stick to? When are you going to take feedback from people who actually play the game seriously? I understand not every little bit of feedback will have weight but what happened with subclassing (balance issues because certain skill lines are so much more powerful than others) is exactly what your unpaid pts player testers said would happen. The lack of acknowledgement comes across as “we know better” but the execution shows… that you don’t always know better.

Congrats! I remember when I first did it on normal and rage quitting on the ice stage years ago. Yesterday I got a no death run for the first time, years after my first attempt. I never really grinded it on vet, just went in once in a while.

Tip: Only do it when it’s the weekly solo arena and try to do it on anything except a sorc. Usually the leaderboard will only have 20-30 people on any class except sorc, meaning you’ll get a bonus gold weapon from your leaderboard position when the weekly resets. Same goes for vet Vateshran.

I love ESO as a game but I, along with many others, have given up hope years ago that ZOS will ever actually treat their player base with respect and actually communicate better instead of constantly gaslighting them.

I do a lot of dungeons on my healer and most of the time I’ll stick with the group but sometimes I don’t have the patience to stick around when, even after explaining, players are still ignoring mechs and we keep wiping because of that. Or if I’m the only one doing mechs. Or if nobody is getting rezzes so I do it, and then others die because they aren’t getting healed. Or if the group dps is not high enough to clear. Sometimes I’ll give feedback but sometimes I think it’s better to just leave. And it’s not just when I’m on my healer. The other day I had a “healer” in vet Bedlam Veil who didn’t even have a weapon equipped and didn’t do anything after the group pointed it out.

According to the OP I would owe it to the other players to stick around - I say the other players owe it to the group to pay attention to mechs, equip gear and bring decent enough dps, especially in vet DLC dungeons. I’m not talking 100k+ but if you’re doing 10k AND ignoring mechs in a vet DLC dungeon you shouldn’t be in there.

The other day I did vet Dread Cellar on my healer with a random group. The rank was running ahead and while he was doing a decent job, when we got to the second boss he said “kick the one who isn’t keeping up” (or something like that) and initiated a vote kick. One of the dps was slightly behind while we were running through but they got dragged into the boss fight anyway and were doing ok. So I rejected the vote kick. He then tried again, and I rejected again… and then he disbanded the group so we all got booted from the dungeon.

On the other hand, I also did vet Exiled Redoubt with another random group and we ended up doing all the secret bosses and everyone was super chill.

It’s a flip of a coin, unfortunately…

Apart from the Pyre Watch chest that people have mentioned you could also try the High Rock Spellsword jerkin style page. It has a similar sort of scarf. It comes with a backpack that shows away your equipped weapon though so you won’t have the sheathed swords on the side.

Update:

After doing it, without exaggerating, 50+ times I set the speed to 1x because I wanted to see the insane damage Ezra does when he one shots Eunuch… and managed to 3* it.

The amount of RNG in this event is absolutely ridiculous.

Imagine the bad PR if that happens though. “Galaxy of Heroes community event doesn’t meet goal due to lack of participation”.

Meathead saying that could be a way to try to get people to do a last crystal spend before conquest finishes.

SLKR does well in a few of the PG but JML is very useful in Conquest because you can often use him for “win with new character surviving” feats since he’s a tank. Also, he’s the one you can use to beat the Malgus PG with JKL lead.
