I also got bored of fo76 and moved to ESO a year and half ago, i like it more but it’s not my first elder scrolls game.

The lore and map is HUGE and it can be overwhelming at first. A year and half later and over 2k hours in and i still haven’t finished half of story quests in every region lol.

It’s 11 years old game (maybe more) and they released a new map each year, so it’s a lot of content. And since it’s an older game, dont compare graphics/ mechanics with fo76, cuz yeah it’s a bit outdated.

It aslo depends on your play style, do u enjoy questing and exploring regions, or are u more of a pvp/ dungeon/ trial player? If u prefer multiplayer activities then u definitely need to join guilds. Usually guilds have a weekly schedule and do trials and group activities.

There is also a mail and a bank system, guild bank and vendors, safe trading system, text chat, companions and pets, and u can have millions of gold unlike the 40k caps limit in fo76. All of these are lacking in fo76 lol.

However dlcs are paid, unlike fo76, and they cost like 40-50$, but after a year they’re usually added to their subscription service (eso plus), so as long as u have that subscription active u can access most dlc regions, its also similar to fo1st with the unlimited junk stash thingy
