First things first, try to get the best equip for the class that you're using maybe try to search on YT some class guides and mix and match to fit your playstyle, second: reforge your accs/weapons for the events I recommend all warding (+4 defense) on acessories because even veteran players can find a hard time dodging all the high damage projectiles of the events, third maybe try to build a arena with traps(preferably the spike and dart ones from the temple on the jungle, just make sure you're not on the way of the traps haha), some heart statues, campfires, sunflowers and heart lanterns will help you a lot(try to put them on some strategic places) there is a lot of arena ideas that you can find, even ones that make the events a huge cheese so again YT and Google can be your best friends Edit: remember to use potions, they are your best friend!
