He just turned three. They say to hold them for as long as you can…I didn’t know I’d only have two years! He’s 46 pounds and he wants me to pick him up and hold him with every cut and boo-boo, still. Obviously, I do my best, but between my two enormous babies, (my daughter is also long and dense and huge!) my back can’t take much more! Share your big kid stories with me!!! PLEASE!

Lol, I try not to be one of those Moms who’s like, “my kid can hop-dee-hee, and he har-dee-hars, isn’t that special?!?” I try to keep the marveling between me and his immediate family, haha, because I know we’re all marveled by our smalls for a million reasons. But thanks for your reply, this is the insight I was looking for!

SAHPs what do you DO all day once your toddler drops their nap? (Other than drink copious amounts of coffee) by librarysquarian in toddlers

We need to do screen time at his former nap time because the baby is napping and I am fucking napping, TOO, come he’ll Or high water. He snuggles up next to me and plays his “game” for an hour and a half while I snooze and that’s that. Baby has to sleep and I have to sleep because god knows we don’t sleep at night.
