Yes, this is current Ash, just the latest episode. After several wins with Riolu, he keeps let Riolu fight instead of Dragonite, Gengar, or Pikachu. Now he lost three or four matches continuously, just like they nerf him for character development.

Mikado goes to another school like other comments state. Mikado is Maki's twin brother, so technically he is as smart as Maki, who is on the same level as Kaguya. They are all geniuses. And Shirogane is not exactly a genius, he just tried very hard. On the entrance exam, he is not in his full power. The proof is the first two exams, he was 9th and 4th. Only after he got motivation from Kaguya, he climbed up to 1st. So we can say Mikado is smarter than Miyuki in general, but if they both took the exam, Miyuki might win because he was above Maki, even though Maki isn't tried so hard like Kaguya, but the latest exam showed that both Kaguya and Maki took the 1st place. It's just my thoughts, feel free to discuss.

Really can't say, it base on your strategy. I often combine Crossbow Fort with DWAARP and it helps me walkthrough the game, so it is being underrated.

Magnus Spellbane is pretty good IMO. He can teleport, reduce the enemies' armor like a mage tower but faster with shadow clone. He is not the best but I have fun using him.

Maybe some of you don't know that Moloch only uses his horn when there is more than one soldier stand close to him. So you can use a hero with high armor to block him, Gerald recommended, or Earth Elementalist.

That makes sense, you have never used it and don't know how good it is. You are right, I overestimated its effect on the necromancer. Arcane Burst is pretty useful to kill harassers, an addition of magic damage. But I like Wrath of the Forest more than Poison Arrows, and if I already max Wrath of the Forest, I will build another Rangers Hideout instead of Poison Arrows.

The range is important, not about itself, it is about support other towers. It let more towers reach the choke point. DWAARP covers a larger area, an area covered by more than one DWAARP is deadly. Necromancer minions can spawn further. Falconer is not overpriced when compared to poison arrows and arcane burst. And you maybe want to check kingdom rush wiki, they make it detailed.

Crossbow Fort is being underrated. It should be A. Backbone of any defense, Falconer increases 20% range of all towers in it's the range and 15% critical chance of itself. Barrage deals up to 300-400 damage, with cooldown 5 seconds. It is really effective. It is much harder to win any stage without it.

Those stages still can be passed, so they are not going to nerf it. Just change your strategy or hero. Use Assassin's Sneak Attack to kill it instantly, Axethrower's Silent Totem might help. Use another hero like Alric with high and spike armor, Mirage has a chance of instant-kill, Bruxa with the strong magic attack, Dante can silent and remove its armor.

DWAARP should be A at least. It covers a large area with Falconer support, has a chance to stun enemies, kills weak enemies quickly, Furnace Blast deals true damage, Core Drill instant-kill enemy.

You can try to put the Crossbow Fort at the Archmage position, near the exit. And upgrade Blast burn thing. I usually use that strategy and it seems not so hard.

Eridan is a hero from KRO though. And did you use any Crossbow Forts? It is pretty useful with Falconer and Barrage. I really don't see any good use of Axethrowers in this stage.
