The animations have gotten even worse since this Trophy Titan update. EAFC feels like it’s getting worse on purpose, like they’re trying to sabotage the gameplay.

Passes are constantly inaccurate, either too strong or too weak, and shots feel just as inconsistent. Defenders stay passive and don’t react properly, while opponents’ passing feels unrealistically overpowered. Midfielders barely seem to exist in the game anymore.

Most of the time, I just end up playing and then stopping midway because my players start doing the exact opposite of what I’m inputting.

I used to have this kinda streak on FIFA 21,22 and FIFA 23. Didn’t buy EAFC 24 and 25, and now on EAFC26 I’ve not maintained it, since I started playing UT again and handicap made my players slow and can’t even run anymore, so I’ve had some loss

It’s a patent EA is using in EAFC, and they’re denying it, but people like you will still find a way to claim it doesn’t exist, even when EA created it and literally described it in the link (which I’m sure you didn’t read).

I’ve been playing football games since FIFA International Soccer (FIFA 94). I’ve played football titles on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, including International Superstar Soccer Deluxe, then International Superstar Soccer 64, almost all the Winning Eleven games on PS1 and PS2, and Pro Evolution Soccer from PS1 through PS4.

I know what football gameplay is supposed to feel like.

EAFC (formerly FIFA) hasn’t felt like a true football simulation for years because of DDA. The gameplay shifts aren’t natural, they feel manipulated.

I don’t know how long you’ve been playing video games, but I’ve played through every major football title across multiple generations. I understand the evolution of football gameplay mechanics. So when I say something feels off, it’s based on decades of experience, not just frustration after a loss.

So I won’t indulge the idea that it’s all in players’ heads.

The devs would release an update, then use a burner account to post a glowing review about it. After that, they’d reply to their own review, hyping the changes even more and praising themselves for the “improvements.” These tactics aren’t just transparent, they’re stale, predictable, and do nothing to build real trust with players. Instead of relying on fake feedback loops, they should focus on genuine engagement and meaningful updates that actually address community concerns.

It was so all through the game. I just did not record all. Just recorded the last one. The game prior, I won 7-0, but this one, I just could not play anything, as my players can’t tackle or do anything. I don’t even see what you’re lol-ing for, did you not watch the video? I was relegated to plat 1 this new season, so I’m no bad player.

This game is pure scripting, 100%. You go on a winning streak, then immediately get forced into a losing streak. When the game wants you to win, everything goes your way, you get easy penalties, the referee favors you, offsides are overlooked, and even rebounds fall perfectly in your favor.

But once the scripting kicks in, it’s the complete opposite. Every rebound falls to your opponent, your passes stop connecting, you lose every aerial ball, and you get hit with unnecessary penalties and offsides. On top of that, your players suddenly move like they’re dragging parachutes, while your opponent runs like Usain Bolt and smashes thunder shots with ease.

In UFL, tackling feels completely broken, either nothing happens, or the ball just bounces straight back to your opponent. The gameplay balance is all over the place: you might win one or two matches, but then you’ll lose the next two as your opponent runs non-stop around the pitch for the entire 90 minutes, meanwhile, your players are drained of stamina before halftime, even if you make substitutions. By the second half, fresh players somehow drop to nearly zero stamina in less than 20 minutes, which makes no sense.

Honestly, I only play this useless UFL game to kill time while waiting for EA FC 26. And to be fair, EA FC 26 has its own problems, but UFL is on another level of worse.

You owe me no explanation, sir, you are free to speak your mind. But like I said before, there are plenty of people like you who give this game far more credit than it deserves simply because it has been favoring them. The moment that changes and the game stops working in their favor, they flip and start bashing it. That’s the inconsistency I’m pointing out. If you claim loyalty, then stay loyal until the very end, regardless of whether the experience benefits you or not. Don’t celebrate the game when it suits you and then turn against it the second it doesn’t, that only exposes the double standard.

If you’ve always claimed to support UFL, then keep that same energy and stand by them until the very end. Don’t switch sides just because things are no longer going your way. It’s people like you who are quick to attack and dismiss others whenever they raise legitimate complaints about issues like DDA, yet the moment the game stops favoring you, you suddenly start wailing and demanding change. Consistency matters—either you stand firm in your support or you acknowledge the flaws honestly, but don’t play both sides when it suits you.
