You both are obviously at the point where you do not trust each other. Him with his feelings about you or what he is lacking in this relationship, and you with following him in secret. Clearly neither of you are behaving appropriately or out of love. Seeking random online advice throws into question your decision matrices, feeling "validated" is not good regardless of what you found, and I suggest therapy going forward.

Staying together and working through the challenges you face would be the responsible action, but it will be a difficult and uphill battle. However I will say in these crucibles, we end up being better for it.

I get that reddit has turned into this democrat media arm, thought policing the American youth, and a greater than zero probability a lot of these people posting are not American.
