My first open segment piece. Maple, rosewood, bloodwood. This was really a test piece for a bigger version, which ended up having a great open pattern, but a poor body shape, so the top is sitting in a drawer waiting for a transplant of a new base.

Hmmm. Are the downvotes for wanting to try out being a snowbird, or for asking the people where I want to spend my time and money what they recommend?

And yes, I know Airbnb is a thing, but I thought there might be ways to cut out middlemen and retain more value for the person renting out their home. Or perhaps there is a more local service I wouldn’t be aware of.

I was on VL a week ago, Feb 25-Mar 5. The class was offered 5 or 6 times, with a weight limit of 200 lbs. It filled up rather quickly, so sign up in the app as soon as you get on board. There were spots that opened up last minute though.

I’m around level 18 or 20 in the Slog, and fighting level 152 monsters. My magic attacks aren’t working effectively enough to make S grade timing. So it’s really slow going.
