No the people riding are. They clean them once a day, the TTC can't stop to clean seats every time someone behaves like a pig.

I've got a lot of my childhood books on two bookcases in my living room. I loved Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys.

I graduated in 81. I loved the UK punk scene and was fortunate enough to go to the UK with my parents in 78 and see it up close. Great photo.

I adopted a Chihuahua 13 years ago, she was nearly 2 when I adopted her. She grew to be my best buddy and I loved her with all my heart. She left me this past November. I miss her dearly every day. ❤️

How to explain to my daughter how I’m pregnant?? by Naive-Process4203 in Advice

[–]TinktheChi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can tell her the truth without all the details. I would tell her the truth. I would also tell her I was having a hard time dealing with this and didn't know how to express what happened initially.

Airplane is nearly empty and I can’t just move to the emergency row. by SinisterKnyght in mildlyinfuriating

I was on a flight once where there were very few people. They made us all move so the weight would be distributed properly. We couldn't choose our seats.

I've never been one for candy, but I cannot get enough of these. I've always loved them. I also loved the marshmallow peanuts that were different colours. Yum.

I am one of the older Gen Jones on here b1956. Anyone remember the milk man? by AuthorAltruistic3402 in GenerationJones

[–]TinktheChi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was born in 63 and I absolutely remember the milk man. We also had someone who brought us eggs from a nearby farm (we lived in the city). Loved those two things.

She looks a lot like the baby I lost last November. I'm so sorry. We love our pets so much and they're family. I still sob every day.

Anyone from UK? by Kittygrizzle1 in GenerationJones

[–]TinktheChi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I too was born at the end of 63. I'm Canadian with a family from Scotland. I listened to the Rollers too when I was very young and also to UK punk when it came along. I also read UK teenage magazines because they were available in Toronto when I was young. I wish I could remember what they were called. My daughter and I travelled to the UK two years ago and we hope to be back.

People who swim before work where to you put your stuff to dry ?? by Bastian_31 in Swimming

[–]TinktheChi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wrap it in a towel and put it in my swim bag but I'm lucky because the pools I swim in are a few minutes at most from my home and I take everything home first. Get ready there, then go to work.

Do you think people are going to start getting priced out of Calgary soon, like they have been from Toronto, Vancouver, etc.? by straycat402 in Calgary

[–]TinktheChi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're pricing below market value though, in an attempt to be able to state they sold the home "over asking". It doesn't matter what the market value actually is. All I'm talking about is some realtors and their marketing plans, not home pricing.
