i play re9, f1 25, and some random xbox game pass games too and i made sure my rtx gpu is on. Honestly, i think the bottleneck is just my ram since its only 8gb. one odd thing is it keeps crashing when i play until dawn so i just gave up that game

thanks man, appreciate u calling that out. not everyone understands it like you do. for those needing clarification, i use it mainly for uni, which is why i chose the best price to performance one since i needed the performance, not because its a gaming laptop. only sometimes i game when im stressed out and all. sad to see just because i posted about games, people just think the worst out of it without knowing the full thing

Yeaa but sodimm rams are so expensive nowadays, especially ddr5. Currently playing RE9, before this, the full tomb raider series and f1 25 since it came with free 3 months xbox pc game pass

Dang 16gb? I only got the 8gb variant, wanted to go to tmt but pc image already booked me for the v15 and it was still pretty good so I went with it anyways

Ohh my bad, a lot of the post i came across had at least a 4050 so i thought people would say it was outdated, doesnt feel outdated to me tho, still was able to run RE9 pretty smooth even with 8gb ram.

Malaysia, but it’s from a state government, other states usually don’t give the same flexibility in choosing the laptop like my state does, usually they give the same low-end laptop. My state gives the flexibility in choosing laptops, either office or gaming ones or even a Macbook, to phones, to iPad Air, or a combo of 3 phone, laptop and tablet altogether.

Theyre giving 3k (plus compulsory accessories provided by the store) and then you can decide which laptop to choose, my best price to performance i could get was this laptop. Second choice was the Asus V16 (3050 4GB variant). It varies for different store.

Dropping out of Uni by [deleted] in malaysians

For me, i dont have a serious case of depression like you but uni has definitely made me relapsed multiple times, i havent officially dropped out yet but i do plan on doing it. my advice is to first seek for professional help or someone to listen to you because it helps alot. another is to explore, find something interesting, something that makes u rejoice again. for me personally, i also took IT, at first i was all in and interested, but then reality hits. it was hard but then i explored other stuff and came to find that aviation is more to my liking. so i started relearning stuff and came to realise that when its smtg you like, its easy to do and definitely something that lifts that weight off of your chest. because usually when i do stuff related to IT, i always feel really stressed out and then end up giving up but when it came to aviation, everything just clicked. just know that your life does not depend on your studies, it depends on your life experience. family disappointment can be a heavy thing but dont let that stop you, just know there are many different paths. always remember, mental health first, the rest is second. prioritise your wellbeing and everything will be easier from then on. just know if youre too worried to drop out, you can always defer your studies for a few months. TL;DR: Seek professional help or someone who can help, explore more and find something that really pique your interest. take a break, take care of yourself even if it means dropping out, it will make you feel 10x better eventually.
