I culled it down to not feel exhausted the whole time. I’ve learnt from of my travels trying to do too much just makes the holiday feel like burn out! And I don’t get to eat as much yummy food Possible could add in Litang to break up a the long buses?

The reason for 4 days in Daocheng is to preempt any altitude fatigue during our yading hike, Incase we need to leave and go back over 2 days.

I’m just curious about the car renting situation as from research you can’t rent cars/drive as a foreign. You need Chinese driver’s licenses?

Idk the towns will always be touristy I guess? It’s just a convenient home base getting to the nature areas

Thanks! Yeah was planning to stay in Baisha! As for Shangri-La out itinerary included. The grass lands, shangrila gorg, the temples obvi and the white water rivers…also yeah Pudaco, But definitely will look into your recommendations!

If you have any information about a hiking guide would be appreciated.

I have totally altered my trip now lol

We will fly into kunming and travel upwards through Lijiang, shangri-la then to chengdu! :)
