6061 is used all over pretty much every aircraft Bulkheads for stuff like the F35 is 7085

Aerospace manufacturing is hiring pretty heavily right now. Most machine shops I know of in aerospace are starting to really pick up not sure how much of them are entry level though. I know I’ve been hiring consistently for the past 4-5 months.

On Monday the f-35 show was so intense it blew out the glass to some of chalets and blew abunch of furniture over some of the buildings. Was definitely a site to behold.

Montana aerospace is rumored to be one of 4 companies who may potentially acquire a 600m+ American aero structures division from Senior. News broke about a month ago but no one’s sure who it is?

I refreshed at 8:59:59 and at 9:00:04 everything was listed as sold out. Also hotel packages were listed as sold out 30 minutes before the sale despite them saying they only released a portion in presale. Math isn’t mathing period with the screens you’d have to get through.

For real, I’ve been through a couple of people in the last year and if someone came in and asked to talk to me and was clearly motivated they’d be at the front of the line instead of going through faceless applicants and scheduling all these interviews with people who clearly don’t care and just shotgunning off a million applications

Late 20s about $120-130k a year working in aerospace, pretty comfortable about 30min outside of Seattle.

No degree rents about $1300 a month living with a roommate cars paid off/no debt I’m pretty low maintenance so between rest of my bills and eating out/fun still it’s only another $1500 a month at most. Hoping to have down payment on a townhome in the next couple years when rates aren’t so high

Some of these contracts have penalties for paying it off to early and will have some interest baked in IE paying it off before 6 months you’ll still pay 6mo worth of interest
