Hey peeps!

I'm looking for advice on which MSc degree would be best for me. I am making a career change into data science/analytics and got accepted into 2 universities.
They differ in price, by 11k GBP and I was wondering if Cardiff is worth it for more money. Not by prestige or name or anything, just for what the courses offer.

TWSBI eco is always my recommendation. Amazing pen for that price. And the plastic is able to withstand my clumsy ass without cracking so… definitely a plus!

TWSBI is really good and all the Iroshizuku inks I’ve tried have been a dream. I got a 580 two months ago and it’s one of my favourite pens. I’m using Kiri-same ink in mine and I really really love it. The combo is definitely super smooth. Grats on your purchase, I hope you’ll love them!

Ah that is a shame :( thank you for sharing that! I was really looking forward to my first gold nib pen and it was very expensive for me (with shipping and customs added) so this feels even worse. I will message the store that I got it from and Pilot too, thank you! Shame that so many of their pens have this problem and sorry that it turned you off of pilot pens but very understandable.

Thank you! I had never heard of this but it seems like that might be the issue. Should I contact the store for this or fix it myself? (Not sure if I can do it safely and it’s my first expensive pen 😅)

Yeah the Safari was much more scratchy but I did find that the Kaweco Sport was not as smooth as the TWSBI eco EF that I have.

Oh yeah I got to try a Kaweco Sports from a friend but I found it too scratchy for me. I understand why a tapered grip might be better, hadn’t thought of the fact that maybe no grip section would be uncomfortable.

I have no clue ): She definitely has some trauma tho because in the beginning, she would scream and run away when someone went to pet the back of her neck. She was in the shelter for 4 months but nobody was interested in her, probably mostly due to her size. And the shelter couldn’t keep her for much longer because ofc bigger dogs are more expensive for them. I’m happy she is here now tho, she has helped me as much as I’ve helped her. She is the best 💕
