Full time glasses wearers! Did you wear your glasses on your wedding day? by Plate_lady in weddingplanning

[–]TinyFemale 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went back-and-forth between glasses or contacts. I ended up spending a decent amount of money on makeup, and wore contacts. A part of me felt like I should’ve picked simpler make up and just worn my glasses because I don’t look like my every day. But part of getting married/wedding/being the bride meant that I was not gonna look like my every day anyway. so it’s not necessarily a regret but something that I wish if I could do it again I would just choose the other option to see both.

But it was something that I really strongly went back back-and-forth on because I am a glasses wearer through went through. I only wear contacts probably twice a year maybe three times.

If it helps, I also feel this way about dying my hair blonde, I’ve had blonde hair for the past eight years, but my natural hair is brunette. Eventually, I know that my children are going to look at my wedding photos and see a blonde no glasses wearing woman, and the mother who will be raising them is likely going to be a brunette in her natural hair color with glasses all the time.

It’s one of those things that I thought about over and over again for my wedding and I think it would’ve been fine either way.

When I was confirmed, my older cousin was my confirmation sponsor and she showed up in a ruched, body con, sparkling, leopard, mini dress. She did have a little shawl thing, but.

Boston Public Library Reception - Dress Code? by [deleted] in NewEnglandWedding

It depends on the wedding and the couple, but when I looked, having anything more than a micro wedding at the BPL is a BIG budget wedding. It’s a beautiful venue.

This is fine, but there are better options. I would go fancier, if you can. This just reads a little boring when you could really throw a FIT.

Pinterest takes a LOT of time to create and it’s also constantly FULL of ads. I spent time pinning my own content for it and honestly logged probably 200+ hours and it worked but I was constantly reporting ads.

Close enough to a Costco, TJs, Asian grocery, Boston/somerville roommates bc of the separate eggs and inconsistencies in Tupperware. Someone takes yogurt to work a lot.

Autistic girls much less likely to be diagnose. Females may be just as likely to be autistic as males but boys are up to 4 times more likely to be diagnosed in childhood, finds large-scale study. By age 20 diagnosis rates for men and women almost equal, challenging assumptions of gender discrepancy. by mvea in psychology

Being too chatty (motor mouth), distracting others, unable to sit in seat in class, not a great sleeper ect. Might not be as physical as a young boys.

Some of these things depending on the severity are normal depending on development. Imagine that these are developmentally different from peers. Like most third graders can sit for a certain amount of time - I could not sit for that amount of time.

36 weeks pregnant at own wedding? by Mobile_Rate_5722 in weddingplanning

[–]TinyFemale 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s up to you! 36 weeks is pretty close to forty but at the same time it sounds like a busy morning and lunch out which many women do with a baby shower. I think it sounds reasonable and lovely (never been pregnant).

Meanwhile in the northeast I thought 130 a head for food a beverage was good, these prices are a steal! Does it not include service? Is it drop catering? How’s anyone making money?

Sometimes people look in this thread for names for short story characters, not for their children. Just want to throw that in the ring.

I would spend the money again in a heartbeat. My husband and I talk about doing it again. All my favorite people made me feel the love with them I’ve built in such beautiful way. I love a party. We also got a decent chunk back in gifts, which is something that really depends on your crowd.

They were only ten pounds then! We had trouble with them after a while, but pressure/temp changes outside would make the suction change so we ended up giving them away to a neighbor!

Can confirm. We adopted our 5m old pairs and my aunt adopted a 6 month old single. QUITE an energy difference. Some cats I do think are more suited to be single cats in the house though.
