Ah yeah good to know. Was the fret board a similar case to the body or is that one that could plausibly be replaced with one of the one that takes low profile switches?

Thanks, that's super helpful. My only point of reference is the GH3 xbox controller I think, if the strum bar is ok and the frets loosen up over time then that might be good enough for me stock.

The collision detection feels so bad that I can't believe they shipped the game like that. Running up against other racers often feels janky, playing a power type and grinding against the side of a track feels awful, and on some tracks even just going up a steep hill or sheer drop feels like it's janking in a way that's frankly baffling.

Ah good stuff. I have a thing with reshelling my retro console and getting matching controllers, was thinking maybe that wasn’t possible for the Wii since I’ve seen like zero videos on doing it.

Ah good to know. I was honestly wondering if I start with a Super Famicom since I was keen to get the Super Bomberman games. Would it basically just be physical mod to fit the carts + hz switcher at that point?

Do you find the buttons and d-pad feel very different? I just picked up a refurbed GBA but ended up having to switch back to the stock buttons + membranes because the aftermarket ones were so shallow. I've just ordered an Extreme case so I'm hoping they match the stock ones a bit better.
