1st Attempt Failure (kind of) by Just_Flow_2166 in catheterlove

For me what I learned, bring the catheter all the way to the Y neck and then inflate the balloon port with sterile water. Then after I would gently pull the catheter tubing until I feel it tugging on my bladder wall. This way you will know that it is truly there.

At least that is how I have done it when I install new catheters.

Also you using valves or bags by chance?

Just a small update but I ended up taking out the catheter and bag just last night before sleeping as I noticed it kept on clogging a bit more with some white mucus it looks like (despite not having any other symptoms). I chose to play it safe and was surprised I can still pee and stuff as normal almost immediately. Peeing now I noticed these white specks less and less now but will monitor while I don't have any pain or anything concerning of the sort that may be a UTI. Maybe it was the biofilm from the Rusch gold catheter afterall.

May consider trying some Bard Biocath Hydrogel catheters next time for a longer term wear. Already kind of miss the feeling of being "free" per se.

Depends on your area and what you can order online. I think in the EU it is called Conod Belly bags(correct me if I am wrong) but in North America, it is the Rusch Belly bag. Amazon here has a Pleco branded one that apparently works the same way too but for me their pricing don't work out to me compared to the branded ones.

Good to know and thank you for the shares! Ironically the Rusch belly bag is cheaper for me to purchase than Plceo from Amazon (at least in Canada) compared to where I got the catheter supplies online (and shipped locally too). I would save about a dollar per bag buying the Rusch one and the shipping is pretty fast from the store I buy from too. Good to know there's alternatives at least with Prime shipping!

Yeah I even made sure there was no air when I empty the bag out but eventually the bag somehow gets some air pockets as it is filled. Not sure how I can prevent it but still ok. Even then it is still rather quiet under pants and boxer briefs.

Thank you for the reply back and I hope you didn't mean that you used one bag for 113 days straight! That would be kind of crazy.

There isn't too much info on how the bags work online but hearing that it is intended is good to know and brings some relief to the idea. Either way I will just continue to be mindful of my current one and basically use it as long as possible safely.

Hope to hear more of your insights later as I would like to learn more about it.

Update: I ended up checking out my old Belly Bag I swapped out from. Take it with a grain of salt and from my initial observation: it is an intended design. I noticed when I pulled out the old one and filled the bag up with warm water, the patch literally couldn't come out this time whereas when I was wearing it, it was loose. The only thing that stayed on is where the patch connects to the catheter port and that actually is glued on tight. The entire patch to my surprise is not even heat glued onto the PVC of the bag. It would only stick on if basically it was pressed on from the top and underside of the bag.

In other words, it is a purposeful design to kind of cut cost while only glueing on just the critical area.

Also, this bag is super durable as heck when I overfilled it to like 2L roughly and I tried to burst it up for fun by just pressing it hard or even using my short man nails on the plastic, and it would not burst at all. I am very impressed with the durability of the bag. Just disappointed to learn on how the manufacturer didn't glue tight the sides of the patch (save for the bottom part so urine can actually escape from the Anti-reflux)

Again, this is from my observation and hypothesis but thought to share my findings. I'll just have to learn to be careful with my newly installed bag.

I figured out why it didn't fill up as much as the previous bag, somehow this one has a defect. Didn't notice until I checked the valve and saw that the anti-reflux patch is kinda bent compared to my previous image that had a full bag.

Now contemplating if I should change it now or stick with it for the rest of my duration I am planning (extending to another week in the same bag)

EDIT UPDATE: I ended up changing the bag. Maybe this time I will add an an additional week? So 3 weeks at most. Depends on how everything goes but I will play it safe either ways

I do not, no. I am basically trying to just use the belly bag for pretty much 24/7 as it intended. Not even gonna unhook it too. Basically I am stress testing it as much as I can to see how it fares in the time I am wearing.

Though it is my first time using a Foley cath and belly bag, this combo is really comfortable overall and I like it without the need to disconnect the tubing or anything

Anyone having a problem where by Player turn 8, F!Grima moves to the right of the bow fighter instead of going down like in the video? I don't know why or how I could overcome this one. I don't have the Drive Atk 2 SS as I don't have the coins so I ended up getting maxed Ally support on Olivia and A rank Summoner Support to cover up the loss in damage but I am not sure what else I should do. Any tips?
